Here, we will be looking for one object in particular:Iris.Iris has many uses inHades 2, and will be tricky to find for old and new players alike. This guide will help playersfind Iris inHades 2.
How to Get Iris Flowers in Hades 2
Irisflowers are the primary ‘flower’ type resource onMount Olympus, the new region that was added toHades 2in theOlympic Update.Like the materials in other regions, whether an Iris will show up is ultimately down to RNG.Hades 2features multiple toolsthat will make some resources more likely to appear, but the surface flowers do not seem to be affected by these.
To findIrisinHades 2, players must have the newOlympic Updatedownloaded, then make it through theCity of Ephyraand theRift of Thessaly, defeatingPolyphemusandErisrespectively. This will unlock the newMount Olympusregion, which is overrun with new enemies, including the dangerousAutomatons.This is the region where you will find theIrisflower. There is no way to guarantee which chamber will contain the Iris, but we have found it in at least two chambers per run.
If you do not have theObservance of Gaia’s Secretincantation unlocked and completed, you should check theCauldronat theCrossroadsas soon as possible. This incantation provides a 20% chance to acquire one extra resource whenever you pick one up. This is not an early game incantation, so you may need to play through the game until it unlocks. Having it can save a huge amount of time while trying to amass crafting, upgrade, and incantation materials.
