Skills give your character significant bonuses — some may increase your weapon accuracy and stamina, while others outright improve your damage output. How to Unlock More Skills in NMRIH 2

Every fresh Responder starts with one passive skill that’s usually related to their profession. If you want more skills, you’ll need toloot supply items and extract from a mission. Your active character earns XP after a match based on how many supplies they take home. If your character levels up, you’ll unlock more skill slots for them.

To get a new skill, click on the Character tab on the main menu, then select a vacant skill slot in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This will open up a new window containing three different skills. You can only pick one skill per slot, and you cannot reset them, so choose wisely.

Keep in mind that there is permadeath in this game. If your character dies, they’re gone for good, and so are all of their skills. You’ll have to level up a new Responder the next time you play the game, so make sure you havesome friends watching your back inNMRIH 2.

Getting Additional Skills

You can expand the selection of skills you get to choose from byleveling up your account. Unlike Responder leveling, youearn account XP by completing objectives. As much as possible, attempt to find other players as soon as you can, then help them do objectives around the map.

Leveling up your account will take much longer compared to leveling up your character. Players can easily get their Responder from level 1 to 10 by collecting supplies and extracting. However, account XP gains from completing objectives are significantly lower, so expect to put a lot of time into the game if you want to unlock all the skills.NMRIH 2’spermadeathhas no effect on account XP.

Take note that some skills have pre-requisites. For example, the Overkill skill (increases the number of shotgun pellets you fire) requires the Hellfire skill (improves your hip-fire accuracy with weapons). In order to make a build, you’ll need to know which skill unlocks what.
