How To Get Tar Pudding in Once Human
There are two ways to get the Tar Pudding Deviant inOnce Human. The first one is bydefeating the Rift Entity in the Avalanche Monolith, while the second one requires you tocomplete the Deviant: Tar Pudding quest.
Clear The Avalanche Monolith
TheAvalanche Monolithis a Level 25 area located inVena Fjordin the northern regions of Nalcott. To access the Avalanche Monolith, you need toactivatefour Rift Anchorsspread across the Vena Fjord region.
Inside the Monolith, you’ll come across an icy version of theTreant, which you have previously encountered in the Gaia Cliff Monolith during the game’s first season. Defeating the Monolith Rift Entity will immediately reward you with the Tar Pudding Deviant.
Complete Deviant: Tar Pudding Quest
Similar to Deviants like Gazocchio and Ice Pot, Tar Pudding has its own Deviant quest which you can get by talking toLowe in Camp Igloo.He’ll then ask you to visitEmber Strands, a region that is locked during the first phase of The Way of Winter scenario. As such, you can only complete this quest during Phase 2, making it challenging to get Tar Pudding early on.
How To Use Tar Pudding in Once Human
Once you capture Tar Pudding, you need to place itsSecurement Unitina cold area exposed to Blue Light.Tar Pudding doesn’t have any other requirements and this is enough to boost its mood and power.
Tar Pudding is aTerritory Deviant, meaning it manages your territory and handles tasks around your base. Itexcels at extracting crude oilor fuel, which you can then collect from its Securement Unit. This is an efficient method to acquire resources likePortable Mixed Fuel inOnce Human.
Moreover, the presence of Tar Puddingaccelerates the fuel conversion processinside Fuel Refineries, optimizing your resource production.
