This boss has an Electric Weakness, so bring a party member with an Electric Skill in their kit or asan Inherited Skill.

What To Do In The Abandoned Tomb

Inside the Abandoned Tomb, the path directly on your right is where you will find Malveno’s Ring, which is locked and needs a key. There are a lot of chests in this dungeon, but be careful, as opening some of them causes an enemy to attack you. ThePyrite Imitechas a weakness against Light attacks. Using theGold Attackthat Merchant Archetype has on the enemy wastes one of its turns.

Explore the dungeon until you findPlateau, the cat, near the north side of the dungeon. Save your game and head left on the map to find a large chest. Opening this will trigger a boss fight withTrove Imitec.

How To Beat Trove Imitec In Metaphor: ReFantazio

The boss has a Light Weakness, so theHamaSkill attack is quite effective.

Trove Imitec is a Level 32 Boss who is very tricky to deal with, especially if you visit the dungeon at a lower level. The boss has two turns for its attacks. Similar to the other Imitec enemies in the dungeon, the boss is weak against Light Skill moves, and the Merchant’sGold Attackis highly effective. The Gold Attack takes 500 Reeve but causes the boss to lose a turn. Players should use one Gold Attack every turn to ensure the boss is enticed by the money.

You can inherit theHamaSkill from the Healer Archetype or use anIgniterwith theMage Lightskill to exploit the boss' weakness and get multiple turns. The Brawler Archetype is resistant to all the Physical Attacks the boss performs, so it is perfect to use on one of your party members. The boss does Physical Attacks on either one or all the party members and has the Sleepy Air attack, which can cause the Sleep Effect. This must be cured as soon as possible because follow-up attacks on the sleeping targets are Critical Hits and give the boss an additional turn.

You should also Inherit the Healer’sMediSkill for your Protagonist to recover your allies' health during the boss fight. Alternatively, you may choose theHealer Archetype for the Protagonistwhile inheriting the Gold Attack from the Merchant Archetype.
