After the release of the Jungle Getaway update inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players can now invite the famous duo Timon and Pumbaa to the Dreamlight Valley.
The process is extremely easy as the Lion King Realm is supposedly already unlocked previously when Dreamers invited Simba andNala inDisney Dreamlight Valley. If that’s not the case, then you need to farm some Dreamlight and head to the castle to make Merlin unlock the Lion King Realm.
How To Unlock Timon And Pumbaa In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Speak with Simba to trigger theFinding Old Friends quest, which is the first quest out of three to unlock Timon and Pumbaa. He expresses how worried he is about his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, and asksDreamers to return to the Lion King Realm. Keep in mind that if Simba is unavailable in the valley, then you need to unlock the Lion King Realm, bring him to Dreamlight Valley, and become friends with him to trigger the quest.
Upon returning to the Lion King Realm, a cutscene reveals Timon and Pumbaa’s location. Speak with them and say you are a friend of Simba and would like to take them with you back to the village. The duo refuses and asks players to complete some Hakuna Matata lessons first.Collect some materialsto make a crafting table and then use it to craft a Mane. The materials are easily located in the Lion King Realm:
Next, equip the Mane and listen to Timon and Pumbaa’s conversation. To make the players less stressed, the duo came up with a plan. First, head down the wooden log and approach the river to fish out a crown. Second, use the crafting table to make an Empty Vial using Glass. The latter can also be crafted by combining Sand and Coal Ore.
Once the crown is placed on the rock, break it using the Pickaxe, then follow Timon and Pumbaa to the river and scream your fears into the Empty Vial. Throw it in the water and go back to camp. Summon the Shovel and use it on the beds, then go to sleep.
Relax! Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
When you wake up, talk to Pumbaa to start the Relax! Quest. His lesson of Hakuna Matata revolves around relaxation, which is whyyou need to collect the suppliesto make a hammock:
Craft the Hammock and give it to Pumbaa so he can place it somewhere. Upon trying it, he urges you to try three different napping spots that have a green leafy seat:
Return to Pumbaa and then relax in your favorite spot to take a nap. After you wake up, it’s time to play. Use the Watering Can to water three dried up mud spots in front of the camp to step in them and play. Finally, it’s time to eat. Revisit the same three relaxation spots and catch the three floating fireflies to cook the Roasted Jungle Firefliesrecipe inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Take a picture then say goodnight to end the quest.
Where’s Pumbaa? Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first thing you will see upon waking up is a panicking Timon. Turns out Pumbaa is missing and both of you start looking for him. Head to the Oasis at the beginning of the realm to find Pumbaa stuck in a log tree. Take a picture of him and speak with Timon as he sends you looking for bugs to make an oil mix.
Use the Pickaxe on the three rocks near the river to locate all the required bugs. Talk to Timon toget the recipe inDisney Dreamlight Valleythen approach the green stove near the river to cook aGreen Bug Oiland anOrange Bug Oil. After that, combine both oils to create theSuper Slippery Bug Oil. Give it to Timon who mixes it with the Watering Can. Water Pumbaa with the new mix, but alas, it won’t work.
Head back to Dreamlight Valley andask Goofy for advice. He gives you an old plunger and tells you to collect some materials to enhance it:
Craft the Reinforced Plunger and use it on Pumbaa to help him. Finally, sleep with the duo in the camp to welcome them into the village the next day.
