Halkenburg Causes Benjamin’s Downfall in HxH Chapter 404
Benjamin and His Men Underestimated Halkenburg
InHxH403, Balsamilco Might was on his way to tryand assassinate the 9th Prince Halkenburgduring his trial. However, he did not expect to be the one taken out. Indeed, Halkenburg gathered supporters from the crowd and used his Nen ability on Balsamilco Might. This ability’s name was revealed as The Boy Who Shoots the Arrow: Grimmel the Dissonance. Now, Halkenburg has control over Might’s bodies, and the downfall of Benjamin could be imminent.
Halkenburg has many paths he could go down in the next chapters. Specifically, first, he has to convince Benjamin that Might completed his mission and killed him. This will lead Halkenburg to either fake his own death, or really kill his original body.

It’s not known for now if Halkenburgcan use his Nen abilitywhile in someone else’s body. However, if he can, then his ultimate plan might not be to return to his own original body, but to possess the body of the first prince, Benjamin.
If Halkenburg does plan to return to his original body, however, he will probably use Might and his Silent Killer to instead take down Benjamin. This would eliminate one of the strongest contenders in the Succession War.
Benjamin Might Make Use of Martial Law in HxH Chapter 404
Martial Law Would Shake the Succession War
Benjamin, the first Prince, is currently one of the biggest threats in this Succession War, especially as he holds a very high rank, and a lot of military power and influence.
In the recent chapters ofHxH, Martial Law was talked about -and seeing how Togashi is hinting at it, it isn’t unlikely that Benjamin will make use of it.
Martial Law would give Benjamin full power as the military rule would take over. This means that Benjamin would be fully capable of executing his own siblings, something that would throw the entire Black Whale into chaos. Benjamin has mentioned to Halkenburg in Might’s body that he will use Martial Law if Might is to leave without finishing off Halkenburg. So, the consequences of what happens there will be seen quite soon in HxH Chapter 4Halkenburg’s plan goes into action.
Zhang Lei’s Nen Beast Ability Revealed
Kurapika Might Unravel the Secret of this Nen Beast
Zhang Lei is the third Prince of Kakin, and has been one of the more interesting princes so far. Zhang Lei could very much form an alliance with Woble and Prince Tubeppa quite soon, especially as the two have promised him the throne if they’re the ones to remain.
Zhang Lei has a curious Nen beast, whose full ability has not been revealed yet. Fans have seen quite a few chapters of Zhang Lei just thinking about what the coins that his Nen beast drops could be used for. His Nen beast drops coins that increase in value with time.
Previously, Zhang Lei said that he wanted to get in contact with Kurapika to uncover more. Kurapika is quite experienced with Nen, so he might figure it out. So far, fans have come up with a few theories concerning this Nen beast that might unravel soon.
One possibility is that this ability works like a loan. Zhang Lei gives these coins out, and after they increase in number, they can be inserted back into the mouth of the beast, which could increase Zhang Lei’s power. The higher the number on the coin, the more power he gains.
Inserting the coin back in the Nen beast’s coin slot could also givewhoever puts it in a Nen ability. This kind of ability to give others Nen has been seen before, so it’s definitely possible.
Zhang Lei, however, personally believes that this ability will only really be useful after he becomes a King. So, it might be that this beast will not be the most useful during the war, which will lead him to relying more on Kurapika and his group to become King.
Luzurus is Killed by Melody and her Group
Luzurus is Believed to be the cause of Fugetsu’s state
Fugetsu is currently in a very bad condition, and she is only deteriorating as time goes on. Due to that, the Nen beast that took Kacho’s form, as well as Melody and Kaiser, are all planning to get rid of whom they believe caused this, and per their theory,it is 7th Prince Luzurus.
The plan to kill Luzurus will unfold very soon; as Kacho said, they will get to it the next night. Luzurus is known to be involved in drugs, and the mark on Fugetsu’s back is believed to be caused by his Nen beast, something he couldn’t even stop if he wanted to as he doesn’t have direct control over it.
So far, Luzurus being the one who affected Fugetsu is just a theory with no conclusive evidence. It’s possible that, before the operation to kill him begins, new clues to the cause of Fugetsu’s state come up. That could halt the group’s mission of killing Luzurus.
There’s some evidence that the one responsible for what’s happening to Fugetsu is not Luzurus - and that is the rules that the Nen beasts abide by. Indeed, fans probably know by now that Nen beasts can’t attack other Nen beasts or someone possessed by one. Fugetsu, being one of the princes, is possessed by a Nen beast and that would imply that Luzurus’s Nen beast shouldn’t be able to harm her, unless setting up a trap doesn’t count as causing immediate harm, which is not too likely.

The group might even manage to kill Luzurus, and only then realize he is not involved. Which would leave Fugetsu’s case in a very dire state. If this continues, Fugetsu will be one of the next princes to perish, something that the group will have to try and avoid.
