Earlier this month, some DCU fans decided to go straight to the horses mouth and ask Gunn onThreadswhether the report about Dua Lipa was accurate. To the DCU chief’s credit, he shot down talk about any sort of deal with the singer rather quickly.

Most execs at his level simply don’t engage with fans at all. And when they do, they aren’t willing to address rumors likeDua Lipa playing Zatanna, mainly because they believe its’ actually a positive to have those kinds of rumors out there. Even if they’re entirely false, there’s a buzz for their projects that the execs like.
