Marvel Snap’s 29th season, We Are Venom, introduced Agent Venom as the Season Pass card of the month. He is an On Reveal character with the ability to set the Power of all cards in your deck to four. Stat-wise, Agent Venom costs two and has four Power, making him a strategic early-game drop.
The challenge with Agent Venom, however, is that despite appearing to be a flexible card, he doesn’t fit neatly into many archetypes. Building a deck around him can be tricky, as his ideal teammates are limited to cards like Iron Man, The Hood, and Sage—cards that can handle Agent Venom’s power manipulation. How to Play Agent Venom Effectively
When playing Agent Venom, be prepared to go wide or tall. Agent Venom decks can’t reliably secure specific locations, so it’s essential to have backup strategies for either spreading or concentrating power. In the deck mentioned above, Blue Marvel helps with going wide—especially when paired with Mystique—while Iron Man plays a key role in going tall.
Agent Venom follows a strategy similar to Bast’s. You’ll want him to target cards that are otherwise weak or detrimental, like The Hood or Iron Man. (Agent Venom cancels out The Hood’s -3 damage, while his buff compensates for Iron Man’s lack of power as a standalone card.)

Is Agent Venom Worth It?
The reviews are mixed. DeraJN, a well-known Snap player, described Agent Venom as a “cracked” card, believing it can easily win cubes. Meanwhile, Cozy, another prominent content creator, said “[Agent Venom] is fun; he does bring power to abilities like Iron Man or the Thena Zoo decks.” However, he also noted that it’s not a particularly competitive release.
Agent Venom may not be as game-changing a Season Pass card aslast season’s Symbiote Spider-Man, but it’s stilla fun addition for decks that prioritize unique playstyles over the META. Agent Venom offers a buff card that pairs well with unexpected scalers and attackers like Mysterio, Thena, and Iron Man. And this could bring some variety to the Hela-focused metagame inMarvel Snap.
