The roleplaying elements ofMetaphor: ReFantaziowill see players contend with all sorts of unique systems, and at the heart of it all is the Archetypes, which acts as jobs for the various characters in the party that pave the way to unique skills and actions during battle.
While you’re able to rank up an Archetype by earning its requisite XP during combat or by completing quests, unlocking new ones and inheriting skills will require something else altogether. How To Get Magla (MAG) Fast In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Like any good oldAtlusRPG, combat will be the main way of accruing Magla, but it is more than just defeating as many enemies as you’re able to. That helps, but there are also bonuses that can boost your Magla earnings if you get things done right.
Unscathed Triumphs
When facing enemies around your current level, you will have no choice but to engage them in Squad Battles. Give yourself the advantage by using the real-time attacks to stagger them, before jumping into the actual encounter. This will cause the enemies to take damage and remain stunned, so you have more time to decide your next course of action.
The key here is to then defeat all enemies without getting hit yourself, making full use of weaknesses to get more Turn Icons, and overwhelming them before they gain control. If you already know the weakness of an enemy, press your advantage; otherwise, try to experiment with spells and weapons to see what sticks. It is likely you will be able to take out one or two enemies in a group, but hold off on the remaining enemies if you know you cannot wipe them out, as an attack may cause them to recover in time to attack you when it’s their turn. The stunned status will last for one round, allowing you to get in your attacks again. Do so successfully, and you will gain the Unscathed Triumph bonus, which boosts all the rewards earned from combat, including Magla.
Dungeon Farms
Once you have powered up sufficiently, then weaker enemies become instantly beatable using real-time attacks. This also enables you to earn all the rewards much faster. Every dungeon you go to will have finite enemies, but they respawn if you use the Magla Hollows to return to the entrance and reenter, making it possible to farm them over and over again.
A good place to do so early on in the game is in theRegalith Cathedralarea. In the corridor with the locked treasure chest, you will enter several rooms with red crystals within. These enemy spawners will continually cause undead enemies to appear, which you can continuously fight and farm without needing to exit the dungeon. Just verify you are sufficiently high level so you can defeat them without entering Squad Battles.
Elementals
Another good way to farm Magla is to battle the Elementals, which are floating orbs of various colors that like to run away from you when encountered. They can usually be found with other enemies, making it harder to stun them before entering Squad Battle.
Either way, attack them as best as you can and jump into the actual battle. ensure to have the right weapons and spells to exploit the weaknesses. For example, Blue Elementals are weak against fire, while Red ones are susceptible to Ice attacks, so havingenough MPwill always help. They drop hundreds of Magla when defeated, and if you can do so without getting hurt, the bonus will add up to quite a hefty amount of Magla each time.

As mentioned early, Magla has plenty of uses inMetaphor: ReFantaziowhen it comes to the Archetype system. You can use the resource to unlock new Archetypes for each member of the party, or spend it to inherit skills from one Archetype to fit out another.
Another good use of the excess Magla is to exchange it for the in-game money, Reeves. Look for the trader in Grand Trad near the inn, and you can fill up your coffers accordingly using Magla.
