Zelda is the main star ofThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomand she does not control like Link. Instead of a sword, Zelda can copy monster data, called Echoes, with her Tri Rod. Players can control them like a Summoner in aFinal Fantasygame, allowing Zelda to hang back from combat.
However, afterThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’sfirst dungeon, players will acquire the Swordfighter formwhich allows Zelda to channel Link’s sword temporarily. Also, Tri, Zelda’s new companion, gives Zelda Might Crystals she can use to increase her Swordfighter form’s powers. Want to boost this power early? Here are eight good locations which will give players a total of thirteen Might Crystals.
6Get Three Might Crystals In The Hyrule Fields
On Your Way To Your Horse, Make A Pit Stop
Once players finish the lower region of Hyrule which is like the tutorial map, they should head north. The story wants players to go far west to the Gerudo Desert, but side quests are calling. The first of which will be at the Hyrule Ranch to get ahorse inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomand the second will be in Kakariko Village to get a Fairy Bottle. On the way, players can find three Might Crystals.
The first is located southwest of the Hyrule Ranch and it is under a big leaf patch. After that, head northeast of the Hyrule Ranch to a sunken area of rocks with one rock hiding another Might Crystal underneath. Finally, once players reach Kakariko Village, there is a mound next to the cemetery hiding a Might Crystal too.
5Gerudo Desert Ruins
Check Near The Story Rift
After exploring the mid-Hyrule area for a bit between gathering Might Crystals and completingside quests inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players should head south to get to the Gerudo Desert area. On the way to town, players should see a giant rift on the map alongside some ruins. In one of the ruined buildings, players can find two Might Crystals inside a chest.
Besides this area being story-relevant, there’s another thing to do in these ruins. Players should try and kill the ReDead enemy which looks like a zombie with a mask on. Its scream will paralyze all foes which is a great ability to create an Echo from. Defeating the ReDead will be hard at this point in the game, but persevere and get it done because its scream can help stop big groups of enemies.
4The Elusive Tumbleweeds Side Quest
Help This Gerudo Citizen Out
As long as players are in the area, they may as well do a simple side quest,Elusive Tumbleweeds, inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. An NPC in Gerudo Town is hanging around by a palm tree and wants to see a tumbleweed. Players cannot make an Echo out of it like most objects so they have to drag one back to town.
There should be one blowing right outside of the main gates to the town. Players just need to grasp it with Tri’s binding ability and then they have to be careful not to hit any edges. One simple touch can destroy the tumbleweed. This process will only net players with a single Might Crystal but anything is better than nothing to grow that Swordfighter form inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
3Eldin Volcano Outing
Climb The Trail For A Big Bonus
After toying around the Gerudo Desert area for a bit, players should fast-travel back to Kakariko Village. Once there, they should head directly north and then west to follow along the path of the Eldin Volcano. On the very western side of the map is a cave entrance and just above this cave is a treasure chest.
Inside that treasure chest is three Might Crystals. That will be the best haul players will get outside of completing rifts with Tri who typically awards Zelda with three to five Might Crystals. It just goes to show that anything could be hiding inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’schests from Might Crystals to accessories.
2Goron City Ledge
Glide To A Secret Treasure
The chest filled with Might Crystals is worth it because that will be a good start on the hike up to Goron City. There are some notable side quests to tackle here likeThe Fireworks Artist, which is an early one inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. There’s also a hidden ledge on the east side of town that explorers will be particularly interested in.
If players take out some sort of flying Echo, like a Crow, grab it, and then jump off of the ledge, they will start to glide. Monsters don’t have infinite strength though so players can’t, for example, jump off of Goron City’s edge and then float down to the Gerudo Desert. With this in mind, there is the aforementioned ledge on the east side of town that can be glided onto. Here players can get two Might Crystals from a chest.
1Finish The Glide Path and Glide Path Trailblazer Side Quests
Help These Two Young Gorons Out
The last Might Crystal trove worth mentioning is also in Goron City and it relates to gliding. There is a young Goron on the east side of town named Seko. He will challenge players to float through the gorge below and if players do that, they will complete the Glide Path side quest and get some Rock Salt.
Rick Salt can be used to makesmoothies inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomso it’s not an invaluable prize. However, they can get a better prize once Seko’s big brother, Disian, challenges players to the next trial with Glide Path Trailblazer. Once that course is mastered, Disian will give players two Might Crystals.
