Summary
Gundam 00is one of the most famous Alternate Universe series in theMobile Suit Gundamfranchise. After two successful seasons, it received the exciting movieA Wakening of the Trailblazer. It follows the battle between the Gundam Meisters of Celestial Being and the new extraterrestrial threat: the ELS. Setsuna’s powerful 00 Raiser was destroyed by the alien enemies, which left him out of commission for most of the fight. But while Lockon, Allelujah and the Earth Sphere Federation battle the ELS, Setsuna awakens and is given a brand-new unit that has been in development for some time: the Gundam 00 QanT.
00 QanT is Setsuna’s final and by far his most powerful Gundam. It’s a unit truly on a cosmic level of power. Far more advanced than Exia or 00 Raiser combined. The 00 QanT is truly a special Gundam.
Gundam 00 QanT’s Armaments; Power Like No Other
Celestial Being’s Masterpiece
Built by the lead mechanics of Celestial Being, Ian and Linda Vashti, 00 QanT is theculmination of Celestial Being’s technological progress. Equipped with a Twin Drive System and a Veda Terminal that connects Setsuna to Veda and Tieria Erde, QanT provides Setsuna with all the tools he needs for this final mission.
GN Sword V, The Ultimate Saber
Following the line started by Gundam Exia, 00 QanT is equipped with the 5th generation of the GN Sword. Each of these is a dual-purpose weapon, acting as both a high-density saber and a powerful beam rifle. 00 QanT’s GN Sword V is the lightest and yet, most powerful of the line. Far more practical than 00 Raiser’s GN Sword III. This powerful blade can cut virtually anything,giving 00 QanT’s top-notch close-quarters combat.
GN Shield, Unbreakable Defense
Unlike Exia and 00 Raiser’s shields, 00 QanT’s shield is mounted on his backpack, hovering over his left shoulder. The GN Shield is imbued with a GN Drive, providing sufficient energy to the GN Sword Bits once they’re attached to it. The shield can move along the Gundam to provide defense at most angles without carrying it on its arm. It also has a GNBeam Gun equipped, used to intercept nearby enemies.
GN Sword Bits
Following the trend from other Celestial Being Gundams like Gundam Zabanya and Gundam Harute, the 00 QanT has six, remote-guided blades similar to theFunnel-type weapons seen in other Gundam series. The Sword Bits are usually attached to the GN Shield, but they can deploy to attack remote enemies through Setsuna’s Quantum Brainwaves, thanks to his Innovator abilities. The Sword Bits can also be attached to the GN Sword V, granting it special features.
GN Sword V Buster Sword/Buster Rifle Mode
By attaching the Sword Bits to the sword, it can turn into the GN Buster Sword, agiant sword that enhances the usual abilities. 00 QanT can use the weapon in both blade and rifle mode, just like the standard version. In Buster Rifle Mode, it can shoot a massive, extremely powerful beam capable of destroying countless enemies at once.
00 QanT’s Special Systems, The Bringer of Peace

Just like the other Celestial Being Gundams, 00 QanT is equipped with special systems that alter the unit’s performance. These give Setsuna additional ways to battle the ELS.
Trans-Am, Red Lights of War
As is tradition for every Celestial Being unit, Trans-Am is a special mode that grants 00 QanT’s extraordinary speed and attack power. It enhances every one of the Gundam’s features, making a powerful suit even more impressive. However, the mode can’t be sustained for long.
Quantum System/Quantum Burst, Green Lights of Peace
A special mode unique to 00 QanT. The unit glows bright green, allowing Setsuna to use his Innovator abilities to the full extent. The Gundam emits high-density GN Particles throughout the area, which allows Setsuna to create a shared consciousness.At full capacity, it activates the Quantum Burst. This mode allows Setsuna to establish communication with any intelligent species, letting him converse with the ELS. Through this ability, 00 QanT is capable of Quantum Teleportation.
ELS QanT, The Bringer of True Understanding
After Setsuna and 00 QanT fuse with the ELS, the unit evolves further into the ELS QanT. The ultimate mechanical lifeform. In this form, Setsuna and QanT are the most advanced creatures in the universe.
With all its powerful weapons and unique systems, the 00 QanT is the most advanced unit inthe Anno Domini universe of Gundam 00. After its union with the ELS, QanT evolved into a higher life form. In its regular form, QanT is already a Gundam like no other, but in its evolved state, it is a transcendent being of peace and understanding.
