Summary

The Villain Factory has caused chaos and destruction in Naruhata, with villains constantly rampaging after using and acquiring the illegal Trigger drug. What wasconsidered regular villain activitywas a more extensive operation, with All For One at the forefront of the chaos.

The mass-produced villains from the Villain Factory were experiments used to help All For One, and Dr. Garaki creates the now-known bioengineered villains, Nomu. To learn more about the purpose of the Villain Factory inMy Hero Academia: Vigilantes.

What is the Villain Factory?

Mass-produced and Trigger-Induced Villains Are Created For the Sole Purpose of Experimentation

The Villain Factory is the name of avillain organizationthat consists of several members, some of whom are deceased, others who have left the group, and some who have been arrested for their participation within the group. The members include All For One, Dr. Garaki, Number 6 or Rokuro Nomura, Kugitsu Mario, Hina, Hachisuka Kuin, who possessed the bodies of Tamao Oguro, and Haneyama Kazuho.

The Villain Factory is named this way due to its connection to mass-producing villains through theTrigger drug. The Villain Factory would distribute these drugs in three ways. First, villains or potential villains would buy the drug from a Dealer associated with the Villian Factory. This Dealer would then distribute the drug to willing villains.

After Hachisuka Kuin is introduced as a major villain, she uses her Bee Quirk to inject the drug intoheteromorphic villainsand turn them into Instant Villains. She would then do this indiscriminately, injecting villains with fascinating Quirks and collecting data after the villain has rampaged and been subdued by the Pro Heroes.

The last method removes the need to inject the serum, which has been modified and redistributed to be taken orally. However, as the dose is smaller, the Instant Villains created from this drug only experience a slightly uncontrollable version of their Quirk.

What is the Purpose of the Villain Factory?

All For One’s Experiments Have Been a Success With the Creation of Nomu

The purpose of the Villain Factory, with All For One as its leader, is to sow discourse and chaos while collecting data and experimenting on Trigger Users. As this takes place before the events ofMy Hero Academia,All For One andDr. Garakiwere likely using these experiments tocreate what we now know as Nomu.

An Instant Villain is a villain that artificially and temporarily increases their Quirks after having been injected or ingesting the Trigger drug. Trigger is a Quirk-enhancing drug that will boost an individual’s Quirk; however, this will result in an impaired sense of rationality. Due to the effects of Trigger, which will result in users rampaging, it is thus an illegal substance in various countries. However, as seen inMy Hero Academia: Vigilantes, there are legal variants of the substance that are used to treat Erectile Dysfunction and baldness, as mentioned in Chapter 32. However, it is unlikely to have worked as Hotta Ichiro who had been promoting it still ended up bald in Chapter 125.

Instant Villains are relatively easy forthe Vigilantesto subdue; however, further assistance from the Pro Heroes will be required after somewhat controlling the situation. After an individual has used Trigger, the Villain Factory will collect a blood sample as data from the user. The collection of data showcases the potential of Quirk that Trigger has enhanced. A direct result of this is the bioengineered remodeled villains called Next-Level Villains.

Next-Level Villains have been bioengineered by the Villain Factory and have been previous users of Trigger. These villains are larger and more powerful than Instant Villains. Additionally, once a villain has been turned into a Next-Level Villain, they can no longer return to their previous form. Most of the Villain Factories activity has occurred in Naruhata, a city district located in Tokyo. This is primarily due to the lack of Pro Heroes within the area, which resulted in Vigilantes responding to the scene and thus calling for assistance.

Another version of the Next Level Villains is called the Bombers. These villains and normal Next Level Villains are mass-produced in the Onomura Pharma Corp, which was also the base of operations for producing these villains for the Villains Factory.

The Bombers are winged creatures similar to Nomu. Number 6 controlled them via phone to create chaos and destruction while collecting data for All For One. At this time, All For One was still unknown to the public; however, he committed heinous crimes behind the scenes alongside Dr. Garaki. He used Number 6 to control the Next Level Villains and Bombers while mentoring him.

In addition to the Bomber villains, the Villain Factory also created Anonymous villains. These mindless villains were created with the cells of the Bomber villains; their purpose is to wander around awaiting orders and bombing on command. These bioengineered villains work similarly to those of a hive mind, as Number 6 is their commander.

In Chapter 125, the first sighting of the bioengineered Nomu is sighted. Through the Villain Factory, All For One and Dr Garaki created the Nomu, thanks to the culmination of Number 6.

My Hero Academia

Cast

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the “One-For-All” quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
