As players explore Va’ruun’kai inStarfield: Shattered Space, they’ll naturally encounter some things that are only available on this isolated planet. The citizens of Dazra and the members of its many houses have some unique gear, and that includes various sets of armor and clothing.
Among thenew things added inStarfield:Shattered Spaceare armored spacesuits and apparel that are all Va’ruun-themed, which is a given considering the DLC’s setting. The following are all the new armor sets we’ve found so far as well as some noteworthy outfits that players should look out for.
All New Armored Suits In Starfield: Shattered Space
The DLC offers little in terms of armored suits, and half of them (the Va’ruun and Zealot Assault/Heavy Assault suits) share the same model and stats. These can be found as youplay throughShattered Space’squests. For PC players, we’ve also included the IDs of each item, so you can spawn them straight into your inventory with theplayer.additemconsole command.
Suit
A basic suit for House Va’ruun fighters. This set is light and agile with decent defensive stats. It sharesthe same appearance and stat profile as the Zealot Assault set.
A heavier version of the Assault set that boasts better defenses at the cost of being slightly heavier. The bulkier profile gives it a better look that matches the usual space marine look. Again, this shares the same appearance and stats of its Zealot Heavy Assault counterpart.
Standard suit worn by Va’ruun Zealots. In terms of performance, it is identical to the Va’ruun and Zealot Assault sets. However, it has a different appearance. These can be looted from enemies and containers throughout Va’ruun’kai, including the Oracle during theWhat Remains mission inStarfield: Shattered Space.
A simple protective suit that looks very similar to the regular mining suit that players start with, except it bears the colors of House Va’ruun. It has low defense stats but high Airborne and Radiation protection.
A variant of the Va’ruun Heavy Assault set that comes with copper-plated armor segments. It has the same defensive stats, but it trades all Corrosive and some Thermal resistance to improve Airborne and Radiation protection.
Va’ruun Memorial Helmet
A low-defense helmet that’s more ornamental than practical. It shares the same model as Valrak’s Battle Helmet (010AC80F), which has 32 Phys and Engy resistance but no EM protection.
Va’ruun Mining Pack
A simple, non-combat backpack with high Airborne and Corrosive resistance, making it great for exploring hostile environments, provided temperatures are warm and Radiation is non-existent.
Va’ruun Assault Pack
An armored assault pack meant for combat in harsh environments. Share’s the same model asFang’s Pack, though the latter is lighter and has better stats.
Fang’s Pack
This backpack has significantly higher defensive properties compared to the Va’ruun Assault Pack, but it will not protect users from extreme temperatures or Radiation.
Zealot Pack
Common backpacks used by Va’ruun Zealots. These are similar in performance to Va’ruun Assault Packs, but they sport a different look.
Notable New Apparel In Starfield: Shattered Space
Plenty of new regular clothing was also added to the game. While many of them are simple rehashes of other clothes, there are some that do stand out, putting them squarely among thebest apparel inStarfield.
Va’ruun Guard Uniform (with Regular and Elite Helmet)
Body armor that is typically worn by Va’ruun Guards in the city of Dazra. It has decent combat stats for inner wear, but it’s slightly heavier compared to ordinary clothing. The helmets are purely cosmetic and have no stats.
Va’ruun Suit With Scarf
A common suit usually worn by House Va’ruun’s citizens and explorers. This variant comes with a scarf, giving it aDune-like vibe.
Va’ruun Maskwear
This suit is a re-color of the Striker Maskwear outfit that uses the colors of House Va’ruun. It may be a re-used asset, but for players who haven’t found the Striker version, or if you prefer black and green, then this is an excellent choice.
