The game’s premise follows Doctor Strange, Sleepwalker, and company, uniting in three-hero teams and using dream energy from the Mindscape to combat Nightmare’s motives for world domination.Nightmare nearly became the villain in theDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesslive-action movie, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role alongside Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. However, the scheming supervillain is now centerstage in this project. Like DC Comics’Knight Terrorsrun by Joshua Williamson, Nightmare will force Marvel’s heroes to confront their “deepest fears” inside dream dungeons, and the team must navigate each nightmare to stop reality from collapsing.
