TheVersion 2.0.0 patch for the Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmohas been released, bringing with it a new feature and mode along with some helpful options and stability improvements. Moderate Mode will wake users up with softernostalgic Nintendo musicand sounds that will become louder and louder the longer it takes to get out of bed. If a person takes longer than 20 minutes to leave their bed after the initial alarm time, the sound will transition to a “hurry-up” state. This new mode joins Gentle Mode, which features soft sounds and no “hurry-up” state, and Firm Mode, which only features loud music and sounds for those who need a little extra help waking up.

The device will also keep track of a person’s habits in the morning with its Records feature. The Movement Records feature added in the day-one update will track a person’s movements and show applicable data automatically if a person goes to bed around their set bedtime. Additionally, the Alarmo can now be set further away from the user, at up to 50cm max distance. This should be helpful for those with King beds, allowing the device to function as expected. While this update is on the practical side, morerelaxing Nintendo musicand sounds will be added in future updates, including selections fromAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsandMario Kart 8 Deluxe.
