With each passing season, newrewards forModern Warfare 3andWarzone’s Ranked Playmode have been released, but players must climb up the Skill Divisions in order to unlock new weapon camos, stickers, emblems, weapon blueprints, and much more.
With the launch ofCall of Duty’s Season 6 updateon September 18, developer Sledgehammer Games confirmed thatModern Warfare 3’s Ranked Play mode will be coming to an end on October 17. AsCall of Duty: Warzoneis updated alongside the latest mainlineCall of Dutytitle, this also means that the Battle Royale’s Ranked Play mode will be taken offline on the same date. The good news is thatCall of Duty: Black Ops 6is set to release on October 25, and while there won’t be a Ranked Play mode available at launch, Treyarch will be adding the competitive mode sometime in Season 1, which is expected to launch in either November or December.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Ranked Play End Date and Time
As part ofModern Warfare 3’s Season 6 patch notes, Sledgehammer Games confirmed that Ranked Play for Season 6 will come to an end on October 17. The studio said that all Skill Division rewards will be granted soon after the current season has come to an end. While new Ranked Play seasons often arrive with each seasonal update, Season 6 ofModern Warfare 3will be its last, meaning the competitive mode will not be returning and players looking to continue playing Ranked Play will either need to check outWarzone’s iteration (which will be back withBlack Ops 6Season 1) or move over toBlack Ops 6on October 25 and wait for the modes return with the shooter’s first season.
While the game’s Ranked Play will soon be coming to an end, it is worth noting thatCall of DutySeason 6 isn’t ending until November 6, meaning players won’t receive their Skill Division Rewards for another couple of weeks. The rewards players will receive will vary depending on the highest placement reached during the season.
