Summary
October 29 is looking to be a huge day forBattlefield 2042players. DICE’s shooter was not the most well received title in the franchise, as the game was criticized for some of its mechanics when it launched. Despite this,Battlefield 2042saw life through its seasons that constantly provided new content for players.
Earlier this year it was announced thatSeason 7 ofBattlefield 2042would be its last. Despite this, the developers revealed that the game would be getting a Halloween event for fans to look forward to. Very little had been confirmed about what exactly the event would entail, though that has changed as DICE has now provided details on what players can expect.
Battlefield 2042’s Halloween event, called the Circle of Hell, will begin on October 29 and will last until November 26. During this time, Hardcore mode will be available for Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough, and will span across four differentBattlefield 2042maps. In Hardcore Mode, player’s loadouts will be locked to their primary weapon based on their class, and their HUD will provide limited amounts of information. Gamers will deal more damage to their opponents, but will have less HP and will not regenerate lost health. Vehicles will also receive an HP boost, but will take more weak point damage.
