The offer, which went live in late September 2024, brings the game down to $27.99. This is the cheapest that the medieval RTS has even been on Valve’s storefront, beating its prior lowest price by $2. The recently launched discount is going to be available until Thursday, October 10.
Manor Lords Recently Received Some Major New Features
The ongoing sale went live alongside the game’s latest update. Identified by version number 0.8.004, this releaseexpandsManor Lordswith the addition of a fishing system, which is something that many players have been asking for in recent months. The latest version of the game hence has fishing ponds spawning on the map, introducing a new Shoal of Fish resource node that can be exploited. As is the case with other sources of food, players will need to be careful in how they take advantage of these ponds, because overfishing can have disastrous ecological effects.
The 0.8.004 update also saw the game migrate from Unreal Engine 4 to UE5. The engine upgrade brought about some new graphical features like volumetric clouds and mapped shadows for systems that can handle those.
