After leaving the country of Wano, the Straw Hat Pirates made their way to another island that would bring them one step closer to their dreams. Little did they know that their next destination would be Egghead Island, the home of Dr Vegapunk.
Toei Animation has done a splendid job of adopting theOne Piecemanga into the anime. As a result, almost all the episodes in the Egghead Island arc have outstanding animation. It is nothing short of a miracle that the studio has managed to keep such a high level of animation throughout the ark. With so many high-quality episodes, it can be hard to pick a winner.
8The Winner Takes All! Law vs. Blackbeard! (Episode 1093)

Trafalgar Law was among the MVPs of the Arc. It was mainly due to his Devil Fruit power that Kid was able to take down Big Mom. Following the alliance’s victory over the two Yonko, Law and his fellow Supernovas went their separate ways. Law went to Winner Island, where he was ambushed by the Blackbeard Pirates.
Upon making landfall, he engaged in a ferocious duel with Blackbeard. The two Supernovas went at it hammer and tongs. Law was able to damage Blackbeard quite a bit, proving that he had grown a lot stronger. Like all the other episodes, this one was also exquisitely animated, making it a joy to sit through it.
7The Navy Surprised! The Navy Headquarters' Former Admiral, Kuzan (Episode 1115)

Garp’s dream of taking Koby away from Hachinosu came to a screechinghalt due to Kuzan’s interference. The ex-admiral joined the Blackbeard pirates after his loss to Sakuzuki. Since then, he has been sailing with the crew.
When his former mentor came to the island, Kuzan knew that nobody else would be strong enough to stand up to him. What ensued was a fight between two of the Navy’s finest combatants.
6Entering a New Chapter! Luffy and Sabo’s Paths! (Episode 1089)
Following their resounding success in Wano, Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats set sail for the next island. As they draw nearer, the Straw Hat Pirates come across an Eddy.
Away from the Straw Hats, Sabo is seen in the Lulusia Kingdom, where he makes a call to the rest of the Revolutionary Army, hoping to tell them about the Marijoa Incident.
5The Strongest Form of Humanity! The Seraphim’s Powers (Episode 1101)
In this episode, Dr. Vegapunk sheds more light on the Seraphim and their development. He explains to the Straw Hats how he managed to givethe Seraphim Devil Fruit abilities.
While the scientist was still describing the Seraphim’s powers, Luffy was engaged in an exhilarating battle with Lucci. The two combatants were not giving each other even an inch to operate. The episode brought an end to the fight, the winner of which was Luffy.
4Powers on a Different Level! Luffy vs. Lucci! (Episode 1100)
One of the highlights of the Egghead Island arc was the battle between Rob Lucci and Luffy. They previously met in Enies Lobby, where Luffy saved Nico Robin from certain death.
Lucci and Luffy’s fight on Egghead Island was quite significant, as it would prove who was the stronger among them. That they were not going to hold back at any cost. While Lucci might have hoped for a closer fight, Luffy’s Gear 5th swung the pendulum in his favor.
3The Last Lesson! Impact Inherited (Episode 1122)

This particular episode brought an end to the epic battlebetween Monkey D. Garp and Kuzan. The former Admiral was dead set on keeping Kobe and all the other prisoners on Hachinosu. Additionally, Avalo Pizarro decided to use his devil fruit to destroy the ship circling the waters of the island.
To prevent a major tragedy, Garp somehow got up and attacked the skull of the island, after which Koby used Honesty Impact, a new move powered by potent Armament Haki, and destroyed Pizarro’s arm to save the Marines.
2For the Beloved Pupil - The Fist of Vice Admiral Garp! (Episode 1114)
Before the story entered the Egghead Island arc, the anime explored the events that occurred around the world. One of them was related to Koby and Blackbeard. The latter kidnapped Koby and tookhim as a prisoner to Hachinosu.
For a long time, it seemed that Koby would remain in captivity until Garp showed up on the island. He was furious with the pirates as they had taken his protégé hostage, so he immediately got down to business. His arrival was marked with Galaxy Impact, an attack so powerful that it nearly destroyed an entire town on Hachinosu.
1Clash! Shanks vs. Eustass Kid (Episode 1112)
Eustass Kid was heavily involved in the Wano Country arc, where he took down Big Mom with the help of Trafalgar Law. After leaving Wano, Kid and the restof his crewmates traveled to Elbaf,the nation of giants. Kid wanted to pull ahead of his rivals in the race for One Piece, which is why he decided to go to Elbaf.
Upon arriving near the country’s waters, Kid was made aware that the Red Hair Pirates were in the vicinity. However, Kid refused to back out and decided to charge recklessly, and it turned out to be the worst decision he made, as Shanks ended his dream in one fell swoop.
