The North Blue, as the name implies, is the northern part of the Blue Sea. It has an interesting history, which has been explored to a certain extent. In the past, the North Blue was ruled by the notorious Vinsmoke Family. The family’s dominance meant that everything in North Blue happened in accordance with the wishes of the Vinsmokes.
The North Blue was also the birthplace of Montblanc Noland, an outstanding explorer who ended up in storybooks for all the wrong reasons. Aside from Noland, North Blue has produced some of the strongest characters inOne Piece.
7Karasu
Commander Of The Northern Army Of The Revolutionaries
Karasu is the commander of the Northern forces of the Revolutionary Army. He is a laconic individual who keeps to himself and only talks when needed. Karasu hails from the North Blue, but it is unclear which island he was born on.
Hepossesses the Susu Susu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create soot at will. He can use this power in various ways making it difficult to beat him in combat. As one of the top commanders within the Revolutionary Army, Karasu knows how to use both Armament and Observation Haki. His biggest feat so far has been fighting Admiral Fujitora in Marijoa and emerging completely unscathed.
6Vista
Fifth Division Commander Of The Whitebeard Pirates
Vista was the 5th division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. He joined the crew several decades ago, and he stayed with his captain until his dying breath. Considering he was with the crew for so long, it’s obvious that he must have crossed swords with many talented fighters.
Vista uses two swords in combat, and his attacks generate flower petals. Whether these are the results of a Devil Fruit remains unknown. He clashed with Dracule Mihawk in Marineford and was able to match him without any problems. The strongest swordsman in the world even admitted that Vista was an excellent fighter and that only a fool wouldn’t have heard about him.
5Sanji
One Of The Best Fighters In One Piece
Sanji was born to Vinsmoke Judge and Sora. Out of all the siblings, Sanji was the most humane. This made him a failure in Judge’s eyes, which is why he ultimately left the place andfound his way to East Blue.
Sanji is one of the strongest members of the Straw Hat Pirates. He excels at close-range combat, which suits his fighting style. Sanji has genetic modifications, which make him stronger and faster than most characters in One Piece. Sanji is also adept at using Observation Haki and is only second to Luffy in terms of proficiency.
4Trafalgar Law
Captain Of The Heart Pirates
Trafalgar Law was born in the city of Flevance in North Blue. The town was known for its beauty, which was due to the presence of the White Lead. However, this resource soon became a problem for the people of the town as it made them sick and led to their annihilation. Law managed to escape and eventually joined the Doflamingo’s crew. Law remained with them until he was taken away by Corazon, who saved his life by giving him the Ope Ope no Mi.
The Devil Fruit not only helped Law cure himself, but it also made him strong enough to fend off any possible threats. Law became extremely proficient at using the Devil Fruit, and ultimately, he awakened it. His biggestfeat was taking down Big Momwith the help of Eustass Kid.
3Ben Beckman
Shanks' Right-Hand Man
Ben Beckman is the right-hand man of Shanks. Unlike his captain, who was born in West Blue, Ben Beckman hails from the Northern Ocean. He also holds the distinction of being one of the smartest characters in One Piece.
Ben Beckman hasn’t demonstrated his full power in a fight so far, but there have been instances that have allowed the audience to formulate an opinion. In the Marineford arc, he was able to stop Kizaru momentarily. Sometime after the timeskip, he managed to beat Eustass Kid and even cut off his left arm. As the story moves further into the Final Saga, the audience will get a better understanding of his full power.
2Kizaru
One Of The Oldest Serving Marines
Kizaru is one of the oldest Marines in One Piece, so he has a great deal of experience. Very little is known of his past; other than that, he was born in the North Blue, and he joined the Marines at 26 years old along with Sakazuki.
Kizaru is an excellent fighter who has mastered the use of his Devil Fruit.His Pika Pika no Mi grantshim control over the element of light. His attacks are so potent that being hit just once means lights out for the opponent. Kizaru is also adept at using Armament Haki, which he demonstrated in the Marineford and Egghead arcs.
1Sakazuki
The Fleet Admiral Of The Marines
Sakazuki is thecurrent Fleet Admiral of the Marines. He claimed the position after beating his fellow admiral Kuzan in an intense battle at Punk Hazard. Sakazuki is known to be one of the most dangerous individuals in One Piece, and that is mainly because of his ruthless nature.
He was born in North Blue on an unknown island. Judging from Oda’s art of a young Sakazuki, it seems that he had a rough childhood. Sakuzuki possesses the Magu Magu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that gives him complete dominion over magma. The Devil Fruit has one of the highest offensive powers in One Piece, allowing it to bypass the toughest defense with little to no problem.
