While Luffy doesn’t consider himself to be a hero, he certainly is one to countless people all over the world. But inOne Piece, Luffy’s title of Sun God might mean that he’s destined to destroy the world, aswas recently implied in Elbaf, and this could be absolutely massive in more ways than one.

The Destruction Of Fishman Island

The idea of Luffy destroying the world might seem far-fetched to many fans. However, there are already hints for it in the story, starting with the post timeskip, in Fishman Island. Madam Shyarly, who fans know to be an incredible future teller, clearly stated that Luffy would, in the future, go on to destroy Fishman Island. The Fishman Island is, in many ways, a piece of dark history for the inhabitants, which essentially means that Luffy would not hesitate in destroying this country. If Luffy can destroy Fishman Island, then, one can certainly believe that Luffy can go on to destroy the world as well. However, the actual idea of Luffy destroying the world is not literal.

Luffy won’t simply go from country to country and cause mass destruction and bring misery to the people. That is not Luffy’s style, and fans know him to be the exact opposite of that. But, the freedom that Luffy embodies also requires him to destroy the world. This is very similar to how Luffy is projected to destroy Fishman Island. Fans know that the Fishmen and the Merfolk dream of living under the real sun on the real surface. These people must live on the surface with the rest of the races and theOne PieceWorld at the end of the series. This means that Fishman Island will simply remain there as an uninhabited place.

Fishman Island will be a piece of dark history for the Fishmen, where they were discriminated against, and Luffy would then go on to destroy it, which would be symbolic in many ways. By this time, all the Fishmen and the Merfolk would already be on the Noah and be carried to the surface by the Sea Kings, on orders of Poseidon, and that is how things are likely going to go down in Fishman Island in the future.

As Luffy destroys Fishman Island, fans get an idea of how he would go on to destroy the world as well. Similar to the Fishman Island arc, Luffy will secure the world for the people, simply because his friends would be in danger, or something trivial like being given food. Luffy doesn’t consider himself to be a hero after all, which means that all he does is for his friends. But, Luffy is still a hero to countless people in theOne PieceWorld, even if he thinks he is not one, and he will most likely be considered one even when he goes on to destroy the world.

The Current World Order And Loki’s Idea Of World Destruction

Loki Implied That The Sun God Will Destroy The World

Now, fans might be confused as to where the destruction of the world comes from. In One Piece chapter 1130, Loki revealed himself to be the Sun God and the one who will destroy the world. This is very specific. Clearly, Loki and the people of Elbaf believe that the Sun God will destroy the world in some way, even though they worship the same god. Now, the people of Elbaf might not know the real meaning of the statement, but fans can clearly see that Ragnarok is built into the stories passed down from generation to generation in the country. It is possible thatRagnarok is linked to the coming of the Sun Godand the destruction of the world, so that the world can be born anew. This should not be too hard for the fans to comprehend.

Essentially, Luffy will have to go and destroy the world, something that Loki believes that he will do. But, this destruction is not to be carried out in a way that would cause misery to the people. This is why the three Ancient Weapons exist in the One Piece world. Joy Boy clearly states that he wanted to pass down the ancient weapons but there is a specific way to use them. This means that the Ancient Weapons are meant for the destruction of those who bring about a destructive world order. This refers directly to the World Government and, more specifically, the Founding 20 and the Celestial Dragons.

Simply put, Luffy will have to go on to destroy the world created by the World Government, so that a world where everyone can eat as much food as they want is created, and one where his friends can stay safe and happy without any slavery flourishes. This is the kind of world that Luffy wants to create, but in order to do that, he will have to destroy the current world order.

How Luffy Will Destroy The World

Luffy Can Destroy The Red Line After The Fall Of Imu

The method using which Luffy is going to destroy the world is quite simple. For one, fans know that Luffy possesses the power ofthe Mythical Zoan, Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. These powers give him enough strength to wipe out islands of the face of the Earth. But, that certainly is not all. Luffy will also have access to Ancient Weapons. For instance, Poseidon, who fans also know is Luffy’s close ally. Luffy is going to be the one to guide her to use her powers right, as was prophesized.

Similarly, Pluton exists and is most likely going to fall under Momo’s command. Once again, this Ancient Weapon will be at Luffy’s disposal, unless Blackbeard somehow steals it. Regardless, fans know that Luffy will have a weapon at his disposal and that he can utilize it in a certain way to destroy the Red Line, and with it, the order of the world, when they fight. The destruction of the Red Line will catastrophically change the world. It might even lead to a cataclysm, which will shake everything from top to bottom.

I’m the Sun God who will destroy this world, Loki! – Loki

By this point, the world might even flood tremendously, before deflooding, and the people will still survive this, becauseVegapunk clearly stated that there will come a daywhen his technology of creating artificial sky islands will be needed. The people will mass evacuate, and even though the world will sink, Luffy will see to it that a new world is created where there is no danger, the world government is erased, and his friends can all live in joy.

By doing this, Luffy will fulfill a generation-old prophecy and unite everyone under the same sun, where all of them will be equal, and no one will be discriminated against. This is howLuffy will most likely go on to destroy an unjust and cruel world, and mark the beginning of a new new one, where everyone is equal.
