All Overwatch 2 + My Hero Academia Crossover Collab Skins
Overwatch 2’s Season 13 is set to kick on onOctober 15, 2024, followinga shorter Season 12. TheMy Hero Academiacrossover event will go live in-game onOctober 17, bringing a series of event challenges and cosmetics for players to enjoy.
This is also whenOverwatchholds their usual Halloween-themed event, so it’s likelythe next Battle Passand shop rotations will also feature many of these aspects. In a way, this makes the MHA crossover even better timed, letting players dress up their favorite characters as iconic heroes and villains from the franchise to celebrate in-game.
There have been five skins confirmed for theOverwatch 2 x My Hero Academiacrossover event. This includes Tracer as Deku/Izuku Midoriya, Juno as Ochako Uraraka, Reinhardt as All Might, Reaper as Tomura Shigaraki, andKiriko as Himiko Toga. If this crossover follows the same format as previous crossover events, it’s likely that these skins will all be available for purchase separately in the Hero Gallery and Overwatch Shop, as well as in an individual bundle paired with voice lines and highlight intros and a complete bundle to buy all MHA crossover cosmetics and collectibles at once.
However, many of these events also offer a free-to-earn crossover skin for players to obtain through the completion of event challenges. Previous examples of this include the Mumen Rider Soldier: 76 from One Punch Man,the Fawksey James Junrat from LE SSERAFIM, and the Ein Wrecking Ball from Cowboy Bebop. If the Overwatch collab follows this same route, then Tracer Deku is by far the most likely candidate for the free-to-earn skin, as she is the original face ofOverwatch, and Deku is the face/protagonist ofMy Hero Academia.
