P.T.is probably one of the most infamous video game demos of all time. Appearing suddenly on the PlayStation Store following a nonchalant announcement at Gamescom 2014,P.T.was a mysterious demo that quickly became a phenomenon due to its photorealistic graphics, its obtuse puzzles, and its groundbreaking jump scares and horror atmosphere.P.T.’s infamy grew exponentially when it was revealed to be a teaser for aHideo Kojima-ledSilent Hillreboot.

ButP.T.’s life was cut abruptly short. Kojima left Konami,Silent Hillswas canceled, andP.T.was delisted in April 2015. The only way to playP.T.officially is to own a PS4 withP.T.still installed that hasn’t been hooked up to the internet since 2015. But that hasn’t stopped dedicated fans from trying to recreate the iconic demo. The latest attempt to remakeP.T.might be one of the most impressive yet, with a team of passionate fans recreating the entire playable teaser in PlayStation’sDreams.
