From October 28th till November 13th, players can take part in a Halloween Event forPhasmophobia. During the Blood Moon Event, players will notice that the lobby warehouse has received a terrifying makeover and that there is a new Event Board telling them exactly what the event entails.

TheBlood Moon Event forPhasmophobiais a community-wide event that relies on players from all over the world, including PC veterans andnewcomers on consoles. No one player can complete the event by themselves, but everyone can make contributions and hopefullyunlock the rewardsalongside the rest of the community. With new spooky aesthetics and more challenging ghosts, there’s no better time to jump back intothe number one ghost-hunting game.

How To Complete The Phasmophobia Bloon Moon Event

To participate in thePhasmophobiaBlood Moon Event, players will need to complete the followingthree objectives as many times as they can, while playing on a Blood Moon map:

You will know if a Totem has been successfully photographed if it then vanishes. Nor do players have to worry about deleting photos.

Players will get points for each of these that willcontribute to the community score. Players can check out theEvent Board in the warehouseto see the community’s current progress. Once Stage 1 reaches 100%, a reward will be unlocked and everyone can start contributing to the second Stage.

The number of Blood Moon points earned can be seen at the end of the game as part of the game summary.

Beware That The Blood Moon Makes The Game Harder

Before players get the idea that these objectives sound too easy, they should be warned thatthe Blood Moon makes the game harder. First of all, on the relevant maps, players might have a harder time finding their way around with all the new decorations.

More importantly, however, they will notice that the ghosts are more active, more aggressive, andoverall more powerful. Approach with caution, and always have a hiding spot at the ready.

Due to the increased difficulty, players will gain10% increased rewardsat the end of each game.

Maps That Contribute To The Phasmophobia Blood Moon Event

To participate inPhasmophobia’s2024 Halloween event, players will need to play on the following maps. Thankfully, they are easy to identify as they all havelarge red markerson the contract board:

Players will know that they have chosen an event map when they exit the van and see a red sky and interiors heavily decorated with red candles and the like.

Rewards For The Phasmophobia Blood Moon Event

An event would not be fitting without rewards, and as stated previously, these will be unlocked at the same time by the community:

Naturally, the most exciting rewards will be unlocked after the community completes the third and final stage. If unlocked,the Trophy will be displayed in a cabinetat the warehouse, alongsideotherPhasmophobiacollectiblessuch as cursed objects and human bones.

The permanently unlocked Blood Moon weather will likely be an additional option for those wishing to shake up gameplay, as itmakes the ghosts more powerfulwhile providing a frightening ambiance.

How To Claim Blood Moon Rewards

On top of completing objectives, players will want to check back regularly during the event, as after the community completes each stage, everyone will be able to unlock a new reward.

To claim their Blood Moon rewards, players will need to head over to theBlood Alter in the lobby warehouseand interact with it. It’s hard to miss!
