Most recently, thePlants vs. Zombiessequel had a limited release, under the title “Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia,” in January 2024 for players in countries including Australia, Philippines, the UK, and more. This testing period has also come to an end now as the developer confirmed the process to take the game offline.
ThePlants vs. Zombies 3team announced that it is taking the game down by November 15 to give it a “major overhaul.” It thanked the fans for providing feedback during the game’s soft launch period, adding that it is “onto something great,” and shared its desire to “go even further to make the game truly special.” Giving an outline of the schedule for takingPlants vs. Zombies 3offline, PopCap Games revealed that game downloads and in-app purchases had been blocked. Moreover, it stated that the game’s server support would end on November 15, rendering it unplayable for all players.
When is Plants vs. Zombies 3 Going Offline?
While the newPlants vs. Zombiestitle has been confirmed to go offline for feedback-oriented development, there is no word on its return date. The American studio has simply promised its fans that an"even better"Plants vs. Zombies 3experiencewould arrive “soon,” without giving any hints. It’s worth noting that, despite its scheduled shutdown, existing players' coin balances will be carried over to the next version of the game as long as their account is linked with their Google Play account or Apple ID or EA account. On the contrary, things like in-game progress, Boosts, and narrative will be erased for all players.
