Following the launch of a Pikachu-themed Classic Clog earlier this year, a new collection of shoes inspired by the designs of various fan-favorite characters fromPokemon’s first generation finally has a release date of July 12, 2025. This isn’t the first timePokemonhas teamed up with a footwear company, as it has previously worked with the likes of Adidas, ASICS, Clarks, Converse, FILA, and PUMA.
First announced in July,Pokemon’s collaboration with Crocsrevealed that four new shoes featuring beloved characters like Charizard and Snorlax would be hitting the market sometime in 2024. Now,Pokemonfans don’t have too long to wait before they can take their love of the Japanese franchise and their fashion sense to the next level.
The upcoming collection, available from theCrocs main store, Foot Locker, and other footwear stores, will feature four different designs that include Charizard, Gengar, and Snorlax, who are some of thestrongest Generation 1Pokemon, as well as Jigglypuff. The Charizard crocs feature a fiery orange pattern and a fire symbol Jibbitz charm, while the Gengar pair of shoes takes on a spooky purple and black vibe with a Ghost symbol Jibbitz. The charming Jigglypuff crocs sports a pink design that incorporates a Jigglypuff and star Jibbitz. Finally, the Normal-type Pokemon, Snorlax, comes in a calming blue and white hue and has a normal type symbol on the front of the crocs. ThePokemoncrocs are available for $70 and also come in children’s sizes priced at $55.
Release of New Pokemon-Inspired Crocs Collaboration
In February this year, Crocs teamed up withHello Kittyto celebrate the iconic figure’s 50th anniversary. The special edition crossover included a variety of classic clogs featuring the adorable fictional character created by Yuko Shimizu and the Sanrio company. Although not official merchandise, aPokemonfan recently created their own custom-made sneakersbased on popular shiny creatures that inhabit its world like Gyrados, Yveltal, Groudon, Gigalith, Staraptor, Decidueye, Luxray, and Haxorus.
It’s not onlyPokemonthat has teamed up with Crocs, asFortniteis getting its own battle royale-inspired clogstoo. Inspired byFortnite’s iconic Battle Bus, the vibrant purple shoes, which also sport yellow hazard symbols on the straps, will be released later this month on October 29 and will cost $70.
