While there were a few hiccups along the way, so far the community reception has been quite positive compared to past seasons. Meanwhile, an all-new event is set to be released soon, and many fans are excited about it.
In a new blog post, Niantic revealed an exciting event that will take place inPokemon GOas part of the Max Out season. The Mega Mawile Raid Day will be held inPokemon GOon October 12 between 2 PM and 5 PM local time. As part of the event,Pokemon GOplayers will be able to catch Mega Mawile for the first time in the game. Along with that, there are numerous exciting bonuses that players can get as part of the event.
Pokemon GO Mega Mawile Raid Day Schedule
From October 11 to October 12, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased from five to 20, which should greatly benefit ruralPokemon GOplayers. Players can also receive up to five additional free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs during the Mega Mawile Raid Day. Additionally, if players buy the Mega Mawile Raid Day event ticket for $5, they will be able to get eight additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs. It will also boost the odds of gettingRare Candy XL from battles inPokemon GO, which many in the community have found to be quite useful in the past. Last but not least, players will also get 50% more XP and 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.
Moreover, players also have the chance to catch a shiny Mawile if they are lucky. The odds of encountering a shiny Mawile are usually about one in 50, but considering it is a special Raid Day event, players can expect boosted odds of one in 10 to apply. Typically, players can expect to catch ashiny Pokemon inPokemon GOat about two to three times the odds, so aiming for around 20 to 30 raids should be sufficient to get a shiny Mawile.
