An external factor that played a role in the battle is the windy weather, which gives Rayquaza a damage boost.Pokemon GOplayers have been struggling quite a bit to defeat Giratina even with some of the most powerful Pokemon, so achieving this solo is quite commendable to say the least.
Pokemon GO Players Discover Smart Relobbying Tactic to Defeat Giratina
A lot of players seem to be unaware of the relobbying tactic used by the player to defeatOrigin Forme GiratinaPokemon GO. Relobbying is a term used byPokemon GOplayers when they hop back into a raid after reviving their Pokemon. Essentially, they focus on using one Pokemon for the raid instead of an entire team, which in this case happens to be Mega Rayquaza. Some even noted how well this strategy works with Mega Rayquaza, considering it is one of the most powerful Pokemon inPokemon GOby far. It makes much more sense for players to relobby with Mega Rayquaza instead of using their entire team, as other Pokemon barely do as much damage.
The only tricky part about this is that players will need to teach their Rayquaza another charged move, which will cost an additional 100 candy. Another thing to note is that the feat was achieved using a 6535 CP Mega Rayquaza.
