Reddit user skyejedi27 shared an image of one such catch to the game’s official subreddit, showing off the shiny Giratina they caught with near-perfect stats, having both its Defense and HP at max, but falling just short of a perfect Attack stat. The Pokemon likely required them to spend a lot of time and effort inthe raid battles inPokemon GOto catch, leaving them disappointed with the fact that it came so close to perfection.

Users in the comments shared similar catches they had achieved in the game, many of which were also shiny Giratina with near-perfect stats, and expressed their frustration at how hard it was to nail it down. While the stats are still incredibly high, without being perfect across the board, it’s less likely to be viable inthePokemon GOcompetitive Master League, where most people use “perfect” Pokemon.
