Reddit user andPokemon GOplayer Sansagara2 shared their discovery that their child hadwasted a Master Ballon an Eevee. The four-year-old apparently enjoys the game, and Sansagara2 handed the phone to her so she could catch Pokemon while the two were on a walk. Sansagara2 says that within a minute, they looked at the phone to see how their daughter was doing, only to realize that the game was actively showing the animation for a catch in progress with the Master Ball. In a desperate last-ditch attempt, they shut down the game, butPokemon GOhad already confirmed the catch on its end, so there was no saving it. Their shared screenshot shows that their daughter caught a 787 CP Eevee, and the user confirmed that it was 0 stars.
Pokeon GO Fans Share Advice on Kids Playing
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that a user has seen aMaster Ball wasted inPokemon GOby a child. Several other players pointed this out, and noted that the best course of action may be to create a second account just for parents' kids to play with. One fan said that they allow their two young children to play on their account, but with the rule that they’re not allowed to change out the Poke Ball. Even without wasting a Master Ball, losing some of the more valuable Poke Balls in the game on worthless Pokemon would sting, especially if a user spent real money on acquiring them.
As unfortunate as this situation is, though, some players have suggested that someday this might actually be a positive memory. Seeing theEeveetheir child caught when they were little could bring back good memories once the sting of losing the Master Ball wears off. One fan even said that they went through a similar thing with a significant other, but since they were having fun, it didn’t bother them to lose the ball. Hopefully, players like Sansagara2 will feel the same way in time.
