A new report by a leaker suggests thatPokemon: Legends: Z-Awill feature an art style similar toScarlet and Violet.Pokemon Legends: Z-Awas announced earlier this year, but the developers have shared little details about the game beyond the confirmation that it will be set in Lumiose City of the Kalos region.
The past few days have been quite eventful for Pokemon fans, asGame Freak was subject to a massive data breachthat revealed a lot of details about the developer’s upcoming plans. From mega evolutions to a new online multiplayer game, it seems like there is plenty in store for Pokemon fans in the coming months. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed additional information aboutPokemon Legends: Z-A’s art style, and fans aren’t happy about it.
In a new tweet, popular leakerRiddlerKhu reveals an interesting detail aboutPokemon Legends: Z-A. RiddlerKhu is well known for leaking stuff in the form of a riddle, and they stay true to their reputation with this one as well. They claim that the “ikkaku” art style resembles “titan.” While this might sound quite ambiguous at first, “ikkaku” is actually the codename forPokemon Legends: Z-A,while “titan” is used to refer toPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon Fans Unhappy Over Legends: Z-A Sharing Scarlet and Violet’s Artystyle
WhilePokemonfans are always eager to hear more about upcoming games, this leak hasn’t been received well by the community, asPokemon Scarlet and Violetwas perhaps the most divisivePokemongameever. While the game took the franchise forward in several aspects, fans felt the game was rushed overall. The bugs at launch did contribute a lot towards the game’s bad reception at launch, but the art style wasn’t regarded highly either. As a result, fans aren’t too happy aboutPokemon Legends: Z-Apotentially having a similar look toScarlet and Violet.
That being said, as is the case with most leaks, fans should take it with a grain of salt. While Khu has been an extremely reliable source, fans have grown a bit skeptical after the leaker completely missed the mark when it came toPokemon Legends: Z-A. Leaks had suggested that a Unova game would be next, but that didn’t turn out to be true, which has left some fans doubtful of leaks' credibility despite the fact that aPokemon: Black and Whiteremake being releasedstill can’t be entirely ruled out. Regardless, those disappointed in this leak will just have to remain hopeful thatPokemon: Legends Z-Adoesn’t boast the same art style asScarlet and Violetafter all.
