ChristopherMurphy and Guy Busick, who wroteReady Or Not, will also be writing the second movie. While it’s unclear what the story will be about, the fact thatSamara Weaving is coming back for the sequelsuggests thatReady Or Not 2will pick up after the first movie’s events. Other details haven’t been shared yet. There is no release date yet forReady Or Not 2.While audiences wished they could have seenReady Or Not 2sooner, other horror sequels have taken much longer to come to fruition. For example, whileTrick ‘r Treatwas released in 2007,Trick ‘r Treat 2still hasn’t been made.No other cast members have been announced just yet, either. But sinceReady Or Notfeatured talented actors such as Adam Brody, fans can likely anticipate another all-star cast.

As Deadline reported, Samara Weaving gave an interview toComicbook.comand said she was “all in” forReady Or Not 2. In 2019, she also talked to the publication about where her character could be now. She said:

“I wonder what happens afterwards. Does she go to jail? Does she go to an asylum for psychiatric help? Does she inherit everything? I don’t know. Or the police would say that she did it on purpose. I don’t know … Sitting in a jail cell for 90 minutes, just going insane.”

From the vibrant and uniqueNew York City setting ofScream IVto the creepy and terrifying wedding night that Grace endures inReady Or Not, Radio Silence are making some truly memorable and clever horror movies. WhetherReady Or Not 2starts right after Grace escapes her fate and is victorious against her new family or there is a time jump, the sequel will no doubt be just as fun, entertaining, and successful as the original.
