Considering that this event will take place after the release of the game, it is quite likely that these are the starters that will be featured inPokemon Legends: Z-A.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Fans Want Starters from Different Generations
At first glance, these potential starters do fit quite nicely.Pokemon Legends: Z-Ais set in the Kalos region, so it makes sense for the game to have starters from Generation 6. However, most players thought that it was too obvious to be true. Additionally,Pokemon Legends: Arceusis technically based in the Sinnoh region, but it features different starters.
