Silent Hill 2 Remakedid more than just add a bunch of quality of life improvements to the beloved classic. In addition to theoriginal set of endings,Silent Hill 2 Remakeintroduces two additional endings. The first one is called ‘Stillness’ and the second one is called ‘Bliss’. Unlike some of the other endings inSilent Hill 2 Remake, these two endings have very specific criteria for unlocking them. If you want to see another outcome for Jame’s story, here is how you may unlock the ‘Bliss’ ending.

How to Get the ‘Bliss’ Ending in Silent Hill 2 Remake
The first step of getting this new ending is to beat the game andunlock New Game+mode. Not only can you get theabsurdly powerful chainsawin this mode, but it is also the only way to get the joke endings along with ‘Bliss’ and ‘Stillness’. When you are playing New Game+, there will be some new key items that you can find and pick up.
For the ‘Bliss’ ending, you will want to go to Pete’s Bowl-O-Rama. Make sure you do this after meeting Maria, but before you go into the hospital. Inside Pete’s Bowl-O-Rama, you will find a safe that requires a code.The code for this safe is 1887. Inside the safe, you will find a new item called Rusted Key.
The code can be found on a note next to a corpse at the edge of the road past the Historical Society building.
From there, head to the hospital and proceed with the game as normal. While exploring the hospital, but before you go to the Otherworld version, you will come across a garden area with a gazebo.Under the gazebo, there will be a Small Chest that you can pick up.Once you have both the Small Chst and the Rusted Key,combine them in your inventory, and you will get an item called White Claudia.Hold onto this for now, as it will be important later.
Where to Use White Claudia
Continue onward through the game until you reach Room 312 inthe Lakeview Hotelwhere you watch the tape.Before watching the tape, make sure to open your inventory and use the White Claudia.After that, interact with the VCR like normal. At this point, you will have succesfully unlocked the ‘Bliss’ ending.
Don’t forget to drink the White Claudia before interacting with the VCR, as trying to use it after watching the video will have no effect, and you will then need to reload a previous save.
