As players navigate through the dreaded horrors of Toluca Prison’s early corridors in the Historical Society section ofSilent Hill 2, they will eventually find themselves trapped in a cell with nothing but vicious bugs and overwhelming cockroaches covering the cell’s walls. Armed with a lead pipe and James’ wit, players will be desperate to escape the bug room inSilent Hill 2.
Luckily, getting out of the roach room inSilent Hill 2is fairly easy, and players will only have to juggle three numbers to find out just how to escape. It’s one of Silent Hill 2’s easier puzzles, but it’s still not without its challenge, as the game doesn’t exactly make it obvious what the code to escape is.

As players approach the keypad in the cockroach-infested room they will see that three numbers on the pad are highlighted, and lack the dulled stain of blood that the other numbers have. These numbers should be 2, 3, and 9.
