Two years later, progress and details regarding both games have been incredibly secretive, leaving many fans eager to learn more. The short, yet spine-chilling, teaser trailers offered promising sneak peeks at what could be in store for the franchise, andSilent Hill 2’s remake has made many longtime fans and newcomers more confident in the future of the series.

Bold New Directions Planned For Silent Hill

Details about both games may be sparse, but their ambitious new directions for the series are one of the most intriguing aspects of the two projects.Silent Hill fis taking some serious liberties with the franchise, as it sets to bring the story to1960s rural Japan.
