The Sims 4has received a variety of content updates since the game was released back in 2014. A majority of these updates come in the form of expansion packs and allow players to experience all sorts of new content within the game, such as sending their sims to high school. One of these expansions, the Growing Together pack, gave players more options when it comes to deepening family bonds and connections. In this pack,The Sims 4players are able to unlock the baby carrier, an item that allows adult sims to take a baby or infant sim with them in a backpack-like carrier. In theory, this would be perfect for allowingSims 4players to enjoy a variety of activities with their toddler strapped on their back. However, it seems that this isn’t the case for many players.
Reddit user TotallyAMermaid recently pointed out several failings of the baby carrier inThe Sims 4. They vented their frustrations and mentioned that no matter what they do they cannot seem to get their adult sim to leave the infant sim in the baby carrier. Other Reddit users shared similar stories and frustrations, with one userexplaining that theirSims 4infant had the snuggle sleeper quirkand preferred to sleep in a carrier. However, they could never get their infant to stay in the baby carrier long enough to fall asleep before their adult sim would simply remove the infant from the carrier, creating a never ending and incredibly frustrating loop.
Sims 4 Players Cannot Make Baby Carriers Work Properly
This isn’t the first time that theSims 4fan base has been incredibly frustrated with the game. Most recently,Sims 4players have been complaining about new ads within the gamethat advertise the upcoming expansion pack, Life & Death. The infuriating baby carriers are just another addition to the long list of frustrating bugs and glitches players experience withinThe Sims 4.
Although many players are frustrated with the baby carriers, some have found ways to actually make use of the item as it was intended. A few players mentioned that they use thebaby carrier to take theirSims 4infants out for power walksor jogs. Although some have gotten this to work, others mention not trying the baby carrier with other activities as it continues to frustrate them.
