Reddit user Shuckleberg is puzzled by the paid Costume Party Timed Research inPokemon GO, which costs $1.99 and offerspreviously released Halloween-themed Pokemonthat were once free in 2022. ManyPokemon GOfans in the Reddit community are also confused and unhappy about this Timed Research, but others point out that the Pokemon, including Witch Hat Pikachu and Spooky Festival Vulpix, will still be free to obtain from wild encounters, raids, and eggs. It appears that the new Timed Research is an option that players may consider in order to fast track their own progression during the event and immediately obtain the costume Pokemon. However, some members of the community are still unhappy that Niantic has released the Costume Party Timed Research, since it might confuse players and entice them to make a purchase instead of playing the game.
Pokemon GO Players Aren’t Happy With Costume Party Timed Research Having Rewards That Were Previously Free
