The user, who had wavy hair and wore glasses like Harvey, said that they were only a coat and a tie away from turning into Pelican Town’s sole physician. The outfit undoubtedly impressed many, as community members flooded the user’s post with compliments and gave it more than 9,300 upvotes. One commenter pointed out that the user could also pass off as Harrier “Harry” Du Bois, the main character of the critically acclaimedDisco Elysiumwho is regarded by many as one of thebest-written game characters of all time.

Aside from the Reddit user, other people have attempted to dress up as characters fromStardew Valley. Another fan, for example, cosplayed as Penny, one more potential love interest in the game, during the COVID-19 lockdown because they were bored from being isolated. More recently, Reddit user PlanetaryDoordressed up as the player character fromStardew Valleyat an event while their partner cosplayed as Harvey. PlanetaryDoor even built a replica ofStardew Valley’s time, date, and money counters to go along with their costume as props.

The last major update forStardew Valley, update 1.6, was released in March, adding the Desert Festival and a new summer event, as well as the Trout Derby and SquidFest.
