Like otheropen world RPGsby Bethesda Game Studios,Starfieldhas all the usual hand-crafted quest content, ranging from self-contained side quests to branching main quest stories and everything in between. As with previous entries by the developer,Starfieldand its first major DLC,Shattered Space,includes what the company refers to as ‘radiant quests’ — a random, small scale quest type that can be repeated endlessly for smallerCredit and XP rewards.Starfieldhas taken radiant questing in a slightly different direction with the inclusion of Mission Boards: static locations where players can go to pick up bounties and other smaller quests such as passenger quests and resource deliveries.
Many fans absolutely adore these quests, andthe major factions of the Settled Systemseven have their own dedicated Mission Board terminals for players to continue questing for their preferred factions. InShattered Space,House Va’ruungets in on the business, with a Mission Board of its own for players to sink their time into doing Va’ruun-themed radiant quests and bounties.
Where To Find Mission Boards In Dazra On Va’ruun’kai
The Mission Boards in Dazra are very well hidden,since they don’t seem to be mentioned in the game and are located somewhere quite out of the way. To find theShattered SpaceMission Boards, players need tovisit the Dazra Security Center,a building to the left of the entrance to Dazra — just after the spaceport. Once inside the Security Center, the Mission Boards will be to the right of the door.
What Missions Do The Dazra Mission Boards Offer?
The Missions on offer by the Dazra Mission Boards on Va’ruun’kai are very similar to those on offer elsewhere in the game — but with a House Va’ruun twist. Players can expect to be tasked withrescuing operatives and secret agentsfrom within the Settled Systems, or to be given orders tokill Va’ruun Zealotsor dangerous wildlife across Va’ruun’kai.
How To Clear House Var’uun Bounties In Starfield
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article,there does not appear to be any Bounty Kiosk located within Dazra or the surrounding areas for the clearing of a House Va’ruun Bounty.Even more frustratingly for players, the self-service Bounty Clearance Kiosks players can build also do not clear Va’ruun Bounty — and neither do the fixed kiosks in the Settled Systems. Whether this is an oversight, a bug, or a specific design choice is unclear. Instead, to clear a Va’ruun Bounty, players need toturn themselves in to a Dazra guard.
However, turning yourself over to a guard results inimprisonment for several days, resulting in XP loss proportional to the time spent imprisoned. InStarfield,bounties do not decay over time, so the only way currently to remove a bounty on Va’ruun’kai is to serve the prison time and accept the XP loss.
What To Do If Guards Attack On Sight?
Larger bounties will cause guards to attack the player on sight. If the player fights back, the bounty increases. One workaround to this is leaving the system by ship,waiting or sleeping at least 24 hours, and then returning to turn yourself in. If this doesn’t work, because there are no bounty clearance kiosks available, theonly fix is reverting to a previous savewithout the bounty.
