Summary
Bleachis one of the most popular anime of all time, to the point where its loudest detractors can’t take away from the sheer hold this series has on pop culture. Despite a myriad of disappointing storylines that took away from what should’ve been a classic series, the memorable characters, amazing powerups, andintense battles ofBleachmake it a series worth checking out in the eyes of many. Some of the characters in this show reach ridiculous levels of power, especially when it comes to the villains.
Some of the strongest villains inBleachpose such a massive threat that Kubo writes himself into a corner, having to resort to questionable writing moments to eradicate the threat these enemies pose. It can be frustrating to read time and time again, but this should take nothing away from the power boasted by some of the strongest characters inBleachwho can wipe the floor with their enemies in no time.
5Jugram Haschwalth
Can Use Yhwach’s The Almighty When The Quincy King Is Asleep, Making Him Ridiculously Powerful
Jugram’s effectiveness in combat hinges on whether Yhwach is asleep or awake. He serves as the Quincy King’s right-hand man who proudly proclaims that this Quincy is his other half, which is massive praise. While Jugram may not seem all that impressive at first glance, it doesn’t take long for this character to show off his immense power when the stars align for him. When Yhwach falls asleep,Jugram is granted the honor of using his king’s powers.
The fact that this character himself attests that his combat ability exceeds that of Yhwach when he’s powered up shows just how ridiculously powerful Jugram is. To make things worse for his opponents, he can use The Almighty as well, even if he cannot change the future. Still, that should take nothing away from Jugram’s immense power, even if it’s rather situational and can lead to opponents getting the better of him once they know about his strengths and weaknesses.
4Lille Barro
Uses His Spirit Weapon To Punch Holes Into Everything
The fact thatLille Barro is the first member of Yhwach’s Sternritterto be granted a Schrift proves just how valuable this character is to the Quincy King. He’s one of the strongest villains inBleachwho can decimate anyone standing in his path with a well-aimed shot of the X-Axis that tears through anything and everything standing in its path. This ability is fearsome enough as is, but there are more aces up Lille Barro’s sleeve that make him such an impressive member of the Quincy race.
His Vollstandig is a thing to behold and features so many stages that there are seemingly no limits to his power. The partial manifestation of Jilliel is enough to make anyone worry, and his X-Axis is enhanced to kingdom come when he manifests the full transformation. The fact that he can fire a total of twenty-four piercing shots is ridiculous. However, that’s not all — there’s a second form to his Vollstandig, turning him into a near-invincible being who can use energy blasts to raze entire cities if he wishes.
3Gerard Valkyrie
So Powerful That He Didn’t Die Even After Suffering The Full Force Of Kenpachi’s Bankai
The Miracle is one of the most ridiculously powerful abilities in the entire series, letting Gerard Valkyrie transform into one of the strongest warriors when facing impossible odds. The fact that he was able to withstand the full might of Zaraki’s Bankai despite facing some problems proves just how powerful Gerard is, being able to withstand any damage to the point where the destruction of his body wasn’t enough to stop this monster in his tracks.
The only thing that managed to stop him from eradicatingthe shinigami standing against himwas Yhwach himself. Just when things looked dire for the heroes, Auswahlen stripped him of all his powers and gave them back to Yhwach, turning him into a pile of bones. It’s impressive that the strongest shinigami couldn’t stop Gerard no matter how hard they tried, proving once and for all that this monster is the strongest Sternritter of them all.
2Sosuke Aizen
His Shikai Alone Made Him One Of The Most Overpowered Characters In Bleach
Soul Society isone of the greatest shonen arcs of all time, ending with a betrayal for the ages as Aizen shows his true colors and goes against the people who considered him to be a stalwart ally. At this point, he shows the might of his Shikai, Kanzen Saimin. The ability to hypnotize the mightiest fighters with his release command never ceases to be amazing, and it’s downright criminal that Ichigo managed to humiliate a powerful version of Aizen with a powerup that made little to no sense.
The fact that Aizen’s Bankai has yet to be revealed proves just how powerful this shinigami is. A mere Shikai was enough to bring the entirety of Soul Society down to its knees, and fans can’t wait to see this character fool Yhwach, letting Ichigo unleash a mortal blow that takes out the Quincy King for good.
1Yhwach
Became Almost Godlike After Absorbing The Soul King’s Powers
From the very moment of his introduction, Yhwach made a strong impression as one of the strongest characters inBleach. It takes something special for a character to take down someone as powerful as Genryusai Yamamoto, and Yhwach managed to accomplish this incredible featwith a bit of trickery. So, the fact that this character becomes even more powerful after absorbing the powers of the Soul King means that the final conflict against this malevolent figure will be a battle for the ages.
The strongest ability in Yhwach’s arsenal by a country mile is The Almighty, a precognitive power that allows him to mold the future in whatever manner he sees fit. It’s ridiculously powerful and means that he’ll always be one step ahead of his foes. Without the power of Aizen’s Kanzen Saimin, Soul Society would’ve been subjugated by this tyrant in no time.
