Diddy Kong Racingis one of themajor Nintendo 64 games still missing from Switch Online. It was also developed by Rare, and while it stars Nintendo’s Diddy Kong, it also features multiple characters and IP owned by Microsoft, like the aforementionedBanjo-Kazooieas well asConker’s Bad Fur Day. But if other Rare-developed games can come to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier, there is certainly hope that the same can happen forDiddy Kong Racing.
Nintendo has teasedbig things for its Switch Online + Expansion Pack service in 2025, though it hasn’t gone into more detail. 2025 is also the year that the next-generation Nintendo console is expected to hit the market.
