Damien Leone’s highly anticipatedhorrorsequel,Terrifier 3, has arrived in theaters, and it sees Art the Clown terrorizing the town of Miles County at Christmas. Sienna Shaw is trying to rebuild her life, but Art the Clown has other ideas as he pursues her alongside his new accomplice, a possessed Victoria Heyes. The love for this franchise just keeps growing with each entry, and fan favorite franchise stalwarts, David Howard Thornton, Lauren Lavera and Elliott Fullam are all back in action for this gnarly fun ride.
Terrifier 3premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas on July 04, 2025, and it was released in theaters worldwide on July 03, 2025. Early reviews have been generally positive, with a critics' score of 89% and an 89% rating from audiences onRotten Tomatoes. The second sequel has grossed $18.3 million on a $2 million budget, which makes it the highest-grossing entry, setting anew trend for the horror franchise.

Thebrutal slasher moviesequel begins in the present day, withArt the Clown(David Howard Thornton) breaking into a family home and brutally murdering the parents. Five years prior, Art’s headless body makes its way to the asylum where a possessed Victoria Heyes (Samantha Scaffidi) is locked up. She has just given birth to his head, and they kill a nurse and a guard before fleeing to an abandoned location. Victoria hits her face on a bathroom mirror and kills herself in a bathtub with a shard of glass, while Art the Clown sits on a chair in the attic, both lying dormant.
Back in the present day in thebox-office horror hit, Sienna (Lauren LaVera) is released from hospital and goes to stay with her aunt Jess (Margaret Ann Florence and her husband Greg (Bryce Johnson), and their daughter Gabbie (Antonella Rose). Sienna is suffering from survivor’s guilt and gets frequent hallucinations of her deceased best friend Brooke. Her relationship with her younger brother, Jonathan (Elliott Fullam), is also strained, with him now at college and trying to move on. Elsewhere, Art and Victoria are woken by two workers who find their bodies in the abandoned house, and the killer pair murder them, and Art sets off on another brutal killing spree. He meets a Santa Claus impersonator at a bar and kills him and others, and impersonates Santa at a local shopping mall and blows it up, killing many people. Sienna spots Art at the mall prior to the explosion, but her family think she’s imagining it.
At college, Jonathan is visited by Sienna, and he introduces her to his roommate, Cole (Mason Mecartea), and his girlfriend Mia 9Alexa Blair), who is transfixed by Sienna, as she is the host of a true-crime podcast. Mia wants Sienna and Jonathan to participate in the podcast to discuss the Miles County massacre, but Sienna refuses. Sienna tells Jonathan she thinks Art is still alive, and shows him letters he wrote to her while she was in the hospital, that stated that demons can be reborn through a host, and that host could be Victoria. She also informs Jonathan that she plans to return to the Terrifier haunted attraction to get her father’s sword back. Meanwhile, Art the Clown turns up at the university and brutally kills Cole and Mia with a chainsaw, while they make love in the shower.
Showers will never be the same again.
How does Terrifier 3 End?
Sienna hears about the mall bombing on the news and panics that Art was responsible for the atrocity, and has a dream about angels making her an angel warrior costume. She awakens to find Art and Victoria in her home, and Art hits her with a mallet. Sienna regains consciousness to see Greg’s body pinned to the wall, and Jess tied up opposite her. Victoria shows Sienna a skinned head which has been consumed by rats, and taunts her by saying it’s Gabbie. Art kills Jess by hitting a tube down her throat, and forces the rats down her throat with a blowtorch. Next, Art brings Gabbie out as a hostage and Victoria says the severed head was actually that of Jonathan.
Victoria puts a crown of thorns on Sienna’s head and attempts to possess her. However, she resists and opens her Christmas gift from Gabbie. Turns out, it’s her father’s sword, and she stabs Victoria with it, and decapitates her. Art attacks Sienna with a chainsaw, but she gets the upper hand in the fight. Victoria’s blood burns and creates a portal to hell, and Gabbie slips but holds onto the edge, and Sienna tries to save her, but she loses her grip and Gabbie falls into hell. Elsewhere,killer clown, Artflees and boards a bus, while Sienna sets about a plan to save Gabbie. Another sequel has already been announced as theTerrifierfranchise becomes more mainstreammoving forward.
