After premiering in April 2024, the third season ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimefinally released its last episode on September 27. After the end of the first-ever Founder Festival, some merchants demand to be paid with the Dwarven Gold Coin. While this is an internationally accepted currency, Dwarven Gold coins are rarely used in small trades like this,which is why Rimuruand his staff didn’t prepare many Dwarven Gold Coins in advance. Failure to make the payment is not an option because it will make Rimuru’s Jura Tempest Federation look bad to the other merchants.
The one who saves him from this predicament isthe Empress of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion, Elmesia El Ru Sarion.According to Elmesia, this expensive gift is a token of friendship between the two countries. Furthermore, she also reminds Rimuru about the likelihood of a third party pulling the strings behind the curtain. Not only to humiliate the budding Monster Nation but also to make Rimuru indebted to this person by offering the slime King a bag of Dwarven Gold Coins at the last minute.
What Elmessia said turns out to be true. A minor noble from a foreign country named Duke Muese is the one behind the merchants’ unusual insistence to be paid with Dwarven gold coins. But before the duke can offer his unwarranted help, Rimuru appears with Elmessia’s gold coins and pays the merchants. Later on, he uncovers Duke Muese’s little scheme in front of a group of journalists and bans those problematic merchants from doing business in his country in the future.
Season 1, Episode 5
One of Rimuru’s biggest visionsfor his country is to recreate the technologies of his past life in this new fantasy world. One of his current most ambitious projects is called the MagiTrain. This train will revolutionize the transportation of people and goods for the Jura Tempest Federation and its neighboring countries.
Given the magnitude of this project, the MagiTrain will be the first joint collaborative project between several countries. The Jura Tempest Federation will provide the overall design and the construction of the railways. To help with the development of the MagiTrain itself,the dwarves of the Armed Nation of Dwargonwill lend their engineering prowess and the elves of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion will provide support through their expertise in sorcery.
As the biggest grain producer in the region, the Kingdom of Falmuth will be the main food exporter for the neighboring countries. Similarly, due to its strategic location, the Kingdom of Blumund will be the trade hub that connects every country in the region. This is the beginning of the Monster-and-Man Co-Prosperity Sphere.
Season 1, Episode 23
During the Founder Festival, Rimuru officially introduced the greatest attraction that his country has to offer, the 100-floor Dungeon. He sent several high-ranking adventurer teams to challenge the dungeon for the first time and showcase their experience to hundreds of people in the coliseum through his newly created magic screen.
The public response is highly positive with lots of people expressing their desire to try the dungeon. To attract more customers,Mjöllmile wants to introduce a bounty rewardthat allows the challengers to claim certain monetary rewards. Furthermore, he wants to work together with the Adventurer’s Guild so that the Adventures can use the identity cards issued by the Guild to register into the dungeon and use the Guild’s hundreds of branches to advertise the dungeon.
In exchange for using their infrastructure, the members of the Adventurer’s guild can use the dungeon to catch monsters and earn rewards without having to venture deep into dangerous areas. Similarly,Hinata Sakaguchi also wants to use the dungeonto train her Paladins, both in combat and healing ability. Overall, the grand opening of the dungeon is a huge success.
Season 1, Episode 20
Ever since the huge misunderstanding between Rimuru and Hinata, the slime demon lord has always been suspicious that there’s a traitor among the people he knows. After months of investigation,Rimuru’s intelligence divisionconcludes that the most likely traitor is none other than the leader of the Adventurers Guild and fellow otherworlders, Yuuki Kagurazaka.
One of the figures who is also responsible for so many strange incidents that happened in various countries in the West is a mysterious man who claimed to be a merchant from the East. He was the one who gave false information to Hinata that led to the death of the fakeDemon Lord Luminous Valentine.This man also appeared to be one of the people behind the incident at the Kingdom of Falmuth.
Based on Souei’s latest investigation, Yuuki Kagurazaka not only knows this mysterious man but he had worked with him on multiple occasions. Since Yuuki hasn’t done anything directly to harm Rimuru or his people, for now, the slime demon lord decided to keep a close eye on his fellow otherworlder.
Season 3, Episode 6
Unbeknownst to Rimuru and the people who gathered at the meeting,the true people behind everything strange that happened recently–from the mysterious Eastern Merchant to Duke Muese’s little scheme– is the Rozzo Family. Not many things are known about this elusive family apart from the rumors that they are actually the ones who control the Council of the West from behind the scenes.
The head of the family, Granbell Rosso, was a former high-ranking member of the Church of Luminary. His granddaughter, Mariabel Rozzo, is an otherworlder who possesses incredible intelligence. From what we have seen thus far, it seems that Mariabel is actually the one who makes the decisions in this family. Based on the manga and the light novel, the Rozzo family will be the main enemy in the upcoming season ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. So stay tuned for Season 4.
