This season will feature an additional rig, enemy NPC, and storylines as well. The Outlast Trials Q4 2024 Roadmap
Red Barrels unveiled its latest roadmap just weeks afterThe Outlast Trialsdeveloper confirmed that it had been hacked. The cyberattack, which resulted in some data being accessed, significantly impacted the production timeline for Red Barrels, the studio shared with the community. Red Barrels hopes to be able to follow its roadmap forThe Outlast Trials,but the developer said that it would have to delay some things as a result of the recent breach.
In a July interview,The Outlast Trialsgame director Alex Charbonneau disclosed more information regarding the title’s development. One thing he noted was that, unlike other live service games,The Outlast Trialswill have an actual ending. Charbonneau also revealed that his studio’s ongoing project was originally only supposed to have about four or five trials.
By April,The Outlast Trialshad already managed to attract two million players across PC and console, according to the developer. It reached close to 37,000 peak concurrent players on Steam alone around the time it entered Early Access on the Valve-owned platform in May 2023, according todata provided by analytics tracker SteamDB.
