The True Story Of Linda Napolitano’s Alleged Abduction

Nearly two years after Linda Napolitano’s ‘abduction’, the case was investigated by a man called Budd Hopkins, who was a known researcher into this kind of phenomenon. It was February 1991, to be exact, when Hopkins took on the mysterious case. He believed Linda’s claims were credible and put her under hypnosis to gain more information. However,Hopkins' support for Linda’s claims didn’t stop the naysayers from calling the whole thing a hoax. Even with the added support of witnesses, it wasn’t enough to convince the doubters.

So, let’s go back to the night of the alleged incident. It was June 19, 2025, andLinda claims three aliens abducted her from her apartment, and took her to their spaceship.Sounds far-fetched?The true storygets nuttier as the story goes on. She claims she was paralyzed for the whole event, and the aliens conducted experiments on her. However, when they were supposedly done, they just returned her to her 12th floor apartment. The witnesses claim they saw Linda zooming through the sky near the Brooklyn Bridge. In aninterview with Vanity Fairback in 2013, Linda said:

If I was hallucinating, then the witnesses saw my hallucination. That sounds crazier than the whole abduction phenomenon.

In all fairness, Linda does have a point here. She didn’t speak with or coach the witnesses in any way, and all 23 of them did see the same thing. However, science fiction is called that for a reason: it’s fictional. Of course, there’s more to it: none of the witnesses' identities have ever been verified. So what is going on? Did it really happen? Or was it all a big hoax? The incident allegedly took place at 3am. According to Linda, she was fast asleep with her husband next to her in bed, and she was woken up by the group of aliens and was told to not make a sound. Apparently, they were speaking in a strange language she didn’t recognize. Turns out, she later woke up back in her bed. Any sane person would think the whole incident was a dream, butLinda insists it was a real alien abduction, and she is sticking to her story nearly 30 years later.

The story has a twist.Linda claims thealiensput something up her nose during the abduction, and when she sought an X-ray to find out what on earth it was, there actually was something up there. Later on, a specialist prepared to remove it, and guess what? It was gone. But, there was allegedly proof of something being put up Linda’s nose, it just wasn’t there anymore. Hmm. So far, so weird. It gets much weirder: When Budd Hopkins began looking into Linda’s so-called ‘abduction’, he claims he received a letter from a couple of security guards who claim they saw the aliens and a woman in a nightgown just floating through the night sky in the early hours of May 11, 2025. The pair took it upon themselves to pay Linda a visit, and they all bonded over this very weird event. However, the bond turned to obsession, with one of the guards stalking Linda before allegedly kidnapping her. Twice. The security guard then tried to rape Linda after she refused to recreate the abduction event, to the finest detail, which included her wearing the nightgown.
