With every new area that players unlock inThrone and Liberty, they will also unlock a new batch of side quests that they can completevia the game’s Codex. In addition to needing the specific area to have been unlocked with the Waypoint, playersmust be at a certain levelto begin these side activities. This remains the case throughout the entire game, including some of the game’s later areas like the Monolith Wastes. This desert region is directly east of Vienta Village, one of the many towns that players will find themselves in as they complete the main story.
One of the Codex missions that can becompleted in the Monolith Wastesis Keepsakes in the Sand. This quest sees the player traveling around the immediate area to collect theemblems of some fallen Resistance soldiers. While the area that players will have to go is relatively small, it can be a little annoying to complete everything. Luckily, this guide is here to help anyone looking to find all the emblem pieces.
All Resistance Emblem Locations In Monolith Wastes
As with most quests inThrone and Liberty, this one issplit up into multiple objectives. These are:
Speak With The Crematorium Worker
This is a simple step that only requires players to go out of Vienta Village on the east side to find the Crematorium. If the player has the quest favorited or active, there should be a marker on their mini-mapto show exactly where the worker is.
Speaking with them willtrigger the quest to beginand move the player on to the next step.
Investigate The Crematorium Corpse
Another simple step, this quest objective requires players to jump down into the pit in front of the Crematorium worker. Here, there will be several corpses that players caninteract with to finish this step.
Interacting with any of the corpses willcomplete this stepand signal players to go on to the next step of the quest.
Defeat Ten Desert Cobras
Now, things can get a little time-consuming as the Desert Cobras are just normal enemies that spawn around the immediate area. The mini-map willshow a blue areawhere players can look around to find them, though they can appear outside of this circle as well.
Patience is needed as players walk around to find these serpentsto take down. Once ten of them have been slain, the step will be completed.
Find Resistance Emblems
While playersonly need three Resistance Emblems, there are a lot of different places that they can spawn.
On the mini-map, again, there will be several icons that show where players can find some emblems. This is a huge key to completing this step with ease, as players just need togo to these spotsand look for the emblems on the ground.
The Resistance Emblems can be difficult to spot with the naked eye, but using the mini-map icons to zero in on their locations is extremely helpful.
Once players pick three of them up,it’s time to finish the quest.
Deliver The Emblems To The Crematorium Worker
To finish the entire quest, players just need to bring the emblemsback to the Crematorium worker, who can be found in the same spot he was in before.
