This can be done through many different methods, from finding the gear in chests, completing quests to collect it as a reward, or crafting itusing various materialsthat can be collected around the world. Fortunately, the game givesplenty of options for collecting these materials, including the ability to trade with other players.
This is done through the Auction House, a slightly contentious addition to the game, givingeasy access to materials and any other gearthat a player doesn’t want to hunt down. It can take an overwhelming amount of time to look for everything needed to craft some of the game’s best items, so knowing what to do in the Auction House is always helpful for players looking to start selling and buying.
Auction House & Trading Explained
The first thing that players need to be aware of when it comes to trading at the Auction House is that it won’t be available to themuntil they have reached Level 40. Once players havereached that level, they can go tothe game’s menu and find the Auction House optionin the upper right area. Clicking on this will take them straight there.
Buying At The Auction House
To purchase something from the Auction House,players will need Lucent, one of the premium currencies inThrone and Liberty. Once the player has enough Lucent, they can navigate the menu to find the item they’re looking for inthe Purchase area.
The Auction House has it all laid out pretty clearly and it is easy for players to navigate, so if they know the categories to go to, then theycan easily find the goods needed. They just have to havethe right amount of Lucentin their possession to pay the other player for the piece of gear.
Selling At The Auction House
In order to be the one to profit at the Auction House, players need tobe in the Sell section. Here, a player can choose which items they want to put up for sale from their inventory onthe right side of their screen. Once they have chosen the item, a small window will appear where the player can set the price they want to charge for the item.
Choosing the price of an item will depend ona few factors that the game will tell people. Players must keep in mind the average price for this item on the market, the lowest price it is currently up for sale at, as well as the highest price. If a person sets the item at too high a price, they’reless likely to get anyone to buy it. Going too low will cause them tomiss out on making the profitthey want.
It is recommended togo along with the average priceof the item to make sure there won’t be anything being missed. A profit can still be made, and other players are more likely to be willing to give out their own Lucent for it. Two things that players need to be aware of are that they canonly have 30 items up for saleat a time in the Auction House, and there isa tax rate of 20% when selling an item.
