Roarin Temple Walkthrough (Deactivating Barriers)

The main objective of this dungeon is to beat down theShadow Shamans(and other enemies) keeping custody of thebarriersand taking them down to proceed. Thefirst barrieris right next to the temple’s entrance, so it’s easily reached and the first enemies are small in numbers. It will fall without a problem.

Now begins the fun part. Players must descend into the pit, preferablyusing their Glide Morphto avoid unnecessary damage and target the enemies below from right to left, to access a mechanism calledMana Fluid Regulator.Players need to kill the enemies protecting the Regulator and activate it, making the water flow into the temple andlifting the second barrierallowing them to proceed tothe next zone, which they’ll access with their swim morph.

Now, let’s see the roles for the first boss encounter:

Once players beat this boss thefourth barrier will fall, and it will be time to replenish their health and proceed further. This part where the flame pillars are,can be skipped using the Glide Morph,if players feel confidentaboutavoiding the flames. After a few more ads are cleared, it will be time for thesecond boss fightof the dungeon, which will happen inside a small arena further ahead.

There’s a quest item further ahead, beyond the Fire Pillar pit and next to the campsite. If players are completing the main quest, they’ll find the required item on the left side on top of a barrel.

How To Beat Ancient Berserk Shade Wizard

TheAncient Beserk Shade Wizardwill be the second boss of the Dungeon, and it is particularly annoying since it can summon adds infinitely and also disrupt the players' synergy with some of his attacks. Let’s take a look at them.

Noticeable Mechanics of this Encounter:

This is what each of the party members should do during the encounter:

When the boss falls, the fifth and last barrier will disappear, and players will be cleared to proceed into the innermost zone of the Roaring Temple, where the last challenge lies waiting. But don’t fret, there are lots of useful advicethat will help with the fight.

How To Beat King Chimaerus

Once players descend to the innermost part of the Roaring Temple, they’ll reach acircular arena, where King Chimaerus lies waiting. If they take a look at thechainssurrounding the arena, they’ll notice they can grapple onto them. Keep this in mind for later, now, let’s take a look at some of the most important details.

With that in mind, let’s analyze King Chimaerus’ attack patterns:

As players might have seen, there are two key mechanics to worry about during this fight. The first is the Petrifying Gaze which cannot be avoided, and players need to cooperate to block the fireballs and prevent the boss from wiping the party one by one.

The second is to quickly react and stun the boss while it is channeling its Elemental Roar, otherwise, it will be a total wipe. This is what each of the roles should do during the fight:

Keep a steady DPS, avoiding being killed by the AoE and protecting other team members while they’re paralyzed and the party will have it cooked. One of the most annoying features of this boss fight is that Chimaerus has an enormous pool of HP, so it might take a few minutes before taking it down. But after that, it will be time for loot, so focus on that and work as a team.
