Throne and Liberty: Unidentified Contaminant Quest Walkthrough
Talk to the Windhill Shores Researcher at Spiral Cliff
The first step toward completing the Unidentified Contaminant quest is talking to a Windhill Shores Researcher at Spiral Cliff. For the uninitiated, Spiral Cliff is directly south of theWindhill Shores Waypoint inThrone and Liberty, and the relevant NPC is at the base of the location’s stone tower.
Acquire a Magical Reagent
After speaking with the Windhill Shores Researcher,Throne and Libertyplayerswill be instructed to acquire a Magical Reagent. Fortunately, this is a very easy task to complete, as a Magical Reagent can be obtained by interacting with the shelves that are just behind the Windhill Shores Researcher.
Glide Morph and Spray the Unidentified Contaminant
Players should now position themselves at the edge of the cliff to the Windhill Shores Researcher’s right. From this position, players will see three wooden platforms just past the coastline, and they must useThrone and Liberty’s Glide Morphto reach one of them without coming into contact with any water. Here are the steps that fans should take to perform that maneuver:
Players should perform these actions quickly, as they must interact with the Unidentified Contaminant within one minute of collecting the Magical Reagent.
Defeat a Large Stone Crab that is Wet
Players must now defeat a Large Stone Crab, and these creatures can be found along the beach that runs adjacent to the Unidentified Contaminant. The catch is that the Large Stone Crab must be Wet when slain. To give the creature that status effect,MMORPGfans should simply attack a Large Stone Crab on the beach, run into the sea, wait for the creature to follow, and then return to land (and defeat the crab) once it has become Wet.
The Large Stone Crab will have a water drop icon under their health bar in the top-left corner of the screen when it is Wet.
